I am going to be doing Imax for the first time and I was wondering what everyone thinks of this workout. I am fairly new to cathe and struggle a bit on a lot of her cardio workouts. I done her Body max tape today and done the step and the circuit portion and It was really tough! In comparison to body max, how does Imax rate?
Any opinions would be appreciated.

IMAX is tough but easy to follow. Her step portion is pretty basic and all of the "blasts" are easy to get but tough to do! She has low impact versions for all of the blasts and don't expect to get through this whole tape the first time through. The warm up is 13mn and it definetly warms you up!! :)
This is one of my favorites mainly because I'm so proud when I'm all done! Susan
 
Hard work, but brilliant ! And you will love the step warm up so much, you will want to re-wind it again and again......Love the warm up music :7, if I had it on CD, I would put it on repeat !! :D (Yes, I know I am sad)

I personally think that Imax is easier than Body Max, but that is just me. I love the format. The step/the interval/the recovery - 10 times. I love it. Body Max is my nemesis. It is so fast! I really dread doing that one - the only one I dread. I would choose MIC over Body Max any day. With that said, you will have a blast doing Imax. Turn the TV up - the music is great! It is one TOUGH tape, but you'll be so darn proud when you're done. Have fun!
 
I agree that Imax is easier than Bodymax, and it's easier than Circuit Max. It's the one Cathe "long cardio" tape that I still do on an 8" step.

Just Do It! :)
 
Hi Michelle. I think IMAX is tougher than Body Max in different ways. And there are some portions of Body Max that can be tougher than IMAX.

Stick with it - it's worth it. You'll really love this one!

Sorry I am late to this post. I was out of town on vacation:)

Just wondering if you ever popped in IMAX and waht you think?

It is one of my favorite videos! The choreography is easy but it still kicks my butt! It is a great one to make you feel like you have accomplished something when you're done! I usually scream "alright" and then pass out on the couch!!!!! I had to work myself up to all of it. Finally I can do it with no modifications. However, for a long while I modified the plyos etc.
