Hi. Im 31, 5'5 all. Im interested in buying a Cathe video at the video stores. What videos can you recommend me?

My goals are to loose weight, and have a tone and a sculpted body.

I want a video that works the entire body.

I have been working out for a LONG time now with TV programs and video tapes at home, but I dont see results in my body or my body is so used to the videos perhaps that need a challenge, just wonder. I thimk Im in the intermediate level.

What Cathe videos can you recommend to achieve my goals?

One thing though I need videos that dont require step, balls or bars because I dont have that at home. I just have dumbells

Thanks for your answer

I think that you are going to have to go and buy a step...lol.
Most of cathe's tapes are step videos. But if you want to work the entire body then you are going to need weights to.I always purchase things a little bit at a time.Right now I am looking for 12 pounds dumbbells.
But Body MAx is a awesome tape..but you need a step and you never know a step might be what you need to get the weight loss rolling. And if you really wanted the CTX series is great to..so everyday you work a different body part. And some parts of those tapes are floor aerobics and kick box.
Hope I helped..but your really go to have to go and buy that step..

Welcome to the gang!

About the only cardio videos of Cathe's that don't require a step are: Cardio Kicks; CTX's Kickbox (note you can now buy CTX workouts individually); and Maximum Intensity Cardio for the hi/lo portion only (the second MIC segment is about a 36-minute long step segment).

Regarding strength training, I've seen that most of Cathe's workouts incorporate a mix of dumbbells and barbell, both for upper body and lower body work. There are some modifications you can make so that you can use dumbbells as opposed to barbell, but I think you'll find that you're going to need a barbell in time, especially for lower body work.

Consider investing in a step, in a barbell system, and in heavier dumbbells . . . as well as Cathe tapes! The ROI is immense!

Hi Maru
I really don't think you'll be sorry if you invest in a step. I bought an extra set of risers and use mine as a weight bench too. You mentioned buying Cathe tapes at a retail outlet. She only sells online, as far as I know.
As far as to which tape to buy, I'd recommend the Wedding tape. It contains two separate workouts- one step and a total body weight workout. No barbell required! Hope this helps!
