I'd suggest apples over the sauce.

Another snack suggestion would be homemade hummus (reduce the amount of tahini, and don't add any other oil to make a lower calorie version) with different veggies (celery, carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, red peppers--basically any high-water-content veggie).

Love hummus! It's my life-saver! I also use it in place of condiments on sandwiches and the like. I make mine myself, too. I also throw in a few handfuls of fresh parsley to the cuisinart when I make it. I'm a flavor junkie, unless the food I make is well seasoned, I feel deprived and seek satisfaction in unhealthy ways (my fat-tooth starts tingling).
