I'M IN!!!!

A lot of you know I've been waiting for what has felt like an eternity....I got my first acceptance to law school letter today! I’ve been accepted to Widener University’s Trial Admissions Program. Because my LSAT score was pretty low, this will gives me a chance to prove myself. If I get a 2.3 GPA for this intense one month program, I’ll be accepted into their part-time program in the fall. The information I’ve received tells me much except that they have about a 75% fail rate. Encouraging, isn’t it? Ok, they put it in positive terms—about ¼ of the participants in this program go on to start law school in the fall. But you know me, negative Nelly that reads 75% fail rate to me. LOL!

It’s a 3 night a week program in which I’ll study Civil Procedure, Torts and Legal Methods. It’s writing intensive to teach me how to write in legalese. The program starts on June 3rd with final exams the week of July 8th through 10th. I’ll know if I will be going on by August 1.

Now I have to get my fanny in gear & finish my thesis for my MBA program! I guess this gives me the dead line that I need to get me moving!

Hey Hey, Congratulations Deborah! :D
I have belief in you that you will be the top 25% that DO make it. From the little bit that I got acquainted with you on the Total Blast rotation, I see that you are a fighter and you have determination. Look how you came back to your exercises after your injury...
You didn't give up and yet you used common sense. Like Honeybunch's motto says...Just do it! :D
See, you can make it with your law exams too!

Deborah!

Congratulations! :) I believe you can and will succeed in this one month course and WILL be accepted into the fall program! How exciting! Good luck and best wishes! :) :) Can't wait to hear about the acceptance letter in August!

Yippeeeeeee!!!! Deborah, I am so very happy for you! You worked hard for this, and I'm sure you are nervous, happy, scared, exhilerated, all at the same time!!!Deborah, you have been a success at everything you have set out to do, you are so persistant, albeit a little self-negative, that I truly believe you will be still standing at the end! You go girl!!!!!!!
