Pregnant dynamo still doing power scissors?
I have this image in my mind of tiny Cathe and her huge tummy attempting a power scissor and just getting stuck there ... Chris comes running in, Jon is summoned and finally, the whole group whisks Cathe off to the ob/gyn's office. It's tough to get her seat buckle on while she's in that interesting scissor position, but Chris and Jon get some strapping tape and TAPE her in! The doctor takes one look at Cathe and tells her -- "I told you NEVER to let your front knee to go past your toes in the scissor position!" He/she grabs Cathe by her Rykas and says, "High Knees, Cathe!" She bends her knees and is finally able to get out of Power Scissors position. Lorrayne and Brenda F get pictures taken with her and everyone goes home happy and safe! Wow! Wish I could have been there with you, Lorrayne!

What a class!
Sorry, Daphne, Cathe didn't get stuck in power scissor position. In fact, we didn't do any power scissors.
Instead, we had to do the dreaded circle 15s, your favorite plyo jacks, air borne jumps, my favorite rhymithic Ls, riccochets, grape across the step - shuffle across the floor - pivot - A step, rocking horse, walk around the step w/ the turn (she taught us this on the last road trip), and tons of other moves.
The class was great. But was even better was having dinner with Cathe and Brenda. We had a great time eating ravioli at Italian Bistro. Yum!

One other thing
Oops! I forgot to mention that yes I took pictures of Cathe and Brenda (the travel agency called in the middle of the post and I lost track of what I was writing). But, I didn't take any belly shots. Cathe felt she was huge in her non-maturnity sweater. Yeah, right. I thought she looked great (and not much bigger than she was in October)!
I'll certainly post the pictures if they come out.

Yup, we took a live Cathe class!

I was in the area over the holidays and contacted Cathe about seeing her (not asking to take a class). Well, as it turned out, she happened to be teaching a class on Monday afternoon! I couldn't turn that opportunity down, so I took the class! Brenda has been taking her Monday afternoon class periodically since she lives nearby (she's sooo lucky!).
The class was similar to the one that she taught us at the last class (but only an hour long instead of an hour ). There were no new moves taught due to her pregnancy fog. Actually, I'm glad there weren't as my mind wasn't functioning real well. I remember when she called for a box lunge (this is the move where you lunge around the box similar to around the world) I decided to do some other move. Then, when she called for a Rhymthic L, my mind went completely blank! But, Daphne, I did remember how to do a plyo jack.
