i'm a lost cause

I am extremely suspiscous of a severe food allergy or more than one. Your physical appearance sounds like a digestive disorder.

Try reading "The False Fat Diet" it's a book all about how food allergies can make a person either weigh more than they need to or appear as if they do due to food allergy. It's out in paperback now. I highly suggest it.

hi, i need to add one more thing,so it won't be taken out of content, when i write that my sisters are fine with it,i mean they don't exercise as much..they do wish their legs were bigger and could lose their stomach, they workout some,i just wanted to point out that they are built like me,i don't see myself as the only one,but when i say they are fine with it,i don't mean they like it and i don't...here is my regimen, that is not over obsessive or strenous:6 meals a day(like body for life)plus xtra protein shake or xtra carbs with meal, full body wk?out 3 days a week, aerobics twice a week. i also realize we aren't all built the same,i won't have big muscles like some women ect...i'm not asking for a breast enlargement, facelift or anything drastic to suggest i hate myself and want to change,as i mentioned before,i would like to shape up and tighten, tone up....i know i am rambling,i don't like the waif look, and i really don't like the waif look thats has bodyfat!:)

I would have to quote Cathe here: "don't be afraid to use heavy weights, they do nice things for you". Maybe you need to increase the amount of weight you're lifting,

I heartily second the suggestion to read "The False Fat Diet." The author is the same as the Web site I gave you earlier.

I checked this book out at the library last night and have been literally unable to put it down. What an eye opener! It sounds just like what you describe and my own experiences. He even tells about a slim patient who comes to see him complaining about her bloated, "fat" midsection.

It's all about food sensitivities and reactions and he explains very clearly how these cause fluid retention throughout the body, but especially in the torso, bloating, etc. Because we are often frequently eating our offending foods, the body is in a constant state of reaction, and we mistakenly identify it as fat. He relates many cases where people lose weight and solve multiple health problems by finding and eliminating their personal problem foods. It's a fascinating read!
