Hi all!! We had a great time today! Miss Shelley (allwildgirl) suprised the heck out of me!! She even called me right before I got there, and I thought she was calling me from Canada!!! Alllll along she was posting that she couldn't come! They all played a good trick on me! You should have seen the look on my face! I was so surprised when I saw her there!! They got me good!! :)

Lunch was great and we shopped until we dropped. Our feet were aching at the end of the day. :) It went by so fast though. I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked. But, the other gals took lots of pics. They will post them soon, I'm sure. :)

I just thought I'd post some of mine right here. :)

I had a great time today. It was great meeting everyone. Emily and Shelley - sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. I couldn't believe how fast the time went.

I'm so glad you had the opportunity to get together. It looks like you had a great time. I promise not to tell anybody that you blew your clean eating. LOL!

I am so jealous. It looks like you guys had a wonderful time. I am so glad you indulged in some yummy dessert. That was really sweet of Shelly to do that, what a suprise. You all look gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the pics. That guy looks pretty comfy with Shelly.(LOL)

Yes Marla! The Country Music Marathon in Nashville on April 29, 2006! www.cmmarathon.com. I'm running in it for sure. It would be so great if you could come. You could run or just cheer for us on the sidelines! Shelley is going to run the marathon too. Becky will be cheering from the curbside. Angie's coming, also and she might run! Oh! Jes is thinking about coming too!

Dani and Angie, those are great pics! It's nice to match more names and faces. The waiter looks real happy to be surrounded by all these beautiful ladies. Yep, he'll remember all of you for a long time.:) Wish I had some of Evily's cheesecake. That looked really good. Love seeing a shocked Dani. I didn't know Shelley was going. Great surprise, Shelley! Very lovely GUNS, too.:)

Hey, is Oakbrook close to Downer's Grove? I was just in Downer's Grove last month for a class and it's off I-88 so I'll bet it wasn't too far from The Cheesecake Factory.

Hi Sue! Yes, Downers is just about 5 - 10 minutes away from Oak Brook. Maria is from Downers Grove!!!!

Okay, this isn't Emily posting, it's Shelley!

Contrary to popular belief, I DID, in fact, attend this amazing event today and it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

The only ones who knew I was coming were Angie, Emily and Becky. It was a surprise to everyone else,especially Dani, who was last to arrive. The look on her face when she saw me was priceless. Don't worry, it was captured on film.

The whole group was Dani, Angie, Becky, Emily, me, Lisa, Jenny, Maria, Suzanne, Sabrina and Missy.

Highlights of the day:

- Dani's face when she saw me
- Sabrina doing levitation holds on the floor of the restaurant
- Emily licking the whipped cream off her plate, to the delight of our waiter, Jeremy
- Much switching of cheesecakes so everyone could taste

After lunch, we all did some intense shopping at Oak Brook Centre. I think Dani won the "most shopping bags" award

We met at 12:30 and the last of us went our separate ways at 7 p.m.

Heehee!! Those are some GREAT pics, you guys...looks like you had a great time...I'm sure the waiter didn't know what had hit him, as others have already said! lol..Isn't that cheesecake WONderful? Thanks for sharing the pics! :)

Looks like y'all had so much fun! So that must be what Shelley's secret on the "<-- thread" from Friday! Sneaky - but what a great surprise! Poor waiter must;ve had a tough time putting up with you girls!}(
