I'll never do Terminator!

I previewed the Terminator workouts, and while they look fun and effective, it's just too much impact and intensity for me (so why did I order them in the first place? On a Cathe frenzy, I suppose!). I'm thinking of putting the DVD up on Ebay, but if anyone is interested, let me know.

don't sell it. you'll be able to do it eventually. in the meantime, modify or simply use it as a "carrot" to reach a higher fitness level!!

It's not fitness level, per say, it's more what negative effects it would have on my knees!

It's possible your fitness level (including the ability to soften the blow to knees, and control how joints track during quick moves) will improve. Believe it or not. You might get so strong that you can control the tracking and impact enough to enjoy these workouts.

But what do I know- mine haven't arrived yet! My DVDs are scheduled to arrive tomorrow! :p Still, that sort of thing happened to me at age 42 and now my mind is much more open.

The impact level was why I did not get Terminator. I know my knees aren't up to it. Over the years I've found about the right level between hurting and helping. Cathe is a favorite but so is moderation. I do quite a lot of pilates along with my weight work. This keeps the knees tracking just fine. Go for the ones that work for you and just have fun.

Honestly?
My first time out with the Gauntlet didn't seem very tough. I am a high impact cardio anything freak, and I noticed that the "gauntlet" had alot of weight work in it, with of course some high impact moves in it (the terminator thrusts!) and IMAX intervals (IMAX 2 I mean!)
But there was alot of weight work to where it may be less impact than say IMAX2 or something

But, I say do what is best for your knees-you know them best, and if you don't feel comfortable with what you saw, then maybe you could sell it, and rebuy it. Thankfully, Cathe hasn't discontinued many videos!!!
