If you ARE working one or two body parts a day...

Say you're only working one or two body parts a day, are cutting down on the cardio in order to help build up some muscle, and you're working each body part twice a week. Would you do that particular body part's segment from more than one workout? For example, you do PS Chest and the chest segment from MIS in one workout.

How long should you be working the muscle during one workout? Is 10 - 15 minutes sufficient?

Hi Donna,
If I'm working one body part per day I'll use S&H, PUB and PS which will be about 40-45min. Sometimes, if I still don't feel like I worked the muscle to fatigue, I'll add CTX. Then I'm really done.

I've been using the gym styles doing 1 or 2 parts per day. If I do 2 parts, I do a push/pull workout.

I'm not reducing my cardio. The 1 body part, inspired by Aquajock's faux CTX rotation, leaves me with plenty of time for cardio, yoga & pilates.

In one of Cathe's rotations, she suggested using Pure Strength with another workout (memory failure) in a 1 body part per day routine. I was toast. GS is just right.

Hi Elaine,

I run 3-4 times a week and I do 30min of Imax2 2-3 times a week on non-running days for the plyometrics but I know most people use it for cardio only.

Because I have a bad knee I also do LB strenght w/o on days I don't run. They keep my patella in line ;-) so I can go out and run.
