ICE made me love working out again!

I just wanted to share that I LOVE THE ICE series so much! Due to the extensive travel that goes with my new job, I am unable to exercise at the level that I once could. Because I can only workout 3 or 4 days a week, my fitness level has suffered and the advanced workouts have been extremely difficult, exhausting, and make me dread my workouts. I tend to blow them off because they are too hard.

Now that I have ICE, I love working out again!! They are the perfect level for me, the moves are so much fun, and I still feel like I am getting a great workout. I do not dread them and they make me feel energized. I am hoping that I can start increasing weights soon and who knows, before long, I may be ready to tackle advanced workouts again. Thanks Cathe, they are fabulous!

I concur! I have always been one who loves weight lifting, but detest cardio. I discovered Cathe years ago, but I ended up going back to college, weight gain, finally quit smoking, more weight gain. So turned back here to get back on track.

When I found ICE, and now Xtrain, I discovered I enjoy these cardio moves. I'm still new into the cardio part, but I know cardio improves quickly for me. It's nice to not dread a workout!

I get it, Carrie!! Question for you. Do you think ICE is a better starting point for someone who doesn't have a good cardio level? Over Xtrain. I have been doing STS for the last 3 months (in the last two weeks, doing ploy legs set) and my cardio level isn't the best. I did Xtrain low impact today, and had issues. I have asthma but haven't had much problem since quit smoking (for about three months after) but today needed my inhaler about 3/4 of the way through. Not an attack, just felt it hurting. I was going to move into Xtrain, but now thinking ICE might be a better starting level for me. Your thoughts on this??

Hi Liberty. Sorry...just saw this. But yes, I think ICE is definitely a more doable series than X Train for those getting back into exercise. Although I am doing Level 3 (so including the Blizzard Blasts and Muscle Meltdowns), I am definitely appreciating the shorter rep cycles and slightly longer breaks in the cardio. But once you finish ICE, give X Train another try! It is still my favorites!

SO glad to hear this! I've gone back and forth with my decision to order or not. I've loved Cathe for forever but a couple of years ago I had a total knee blow out. ACL, MCL, PCL and meniscus...full tears. I have worked hard to recover, but at 50 yo it just doesn't happen as fast or as fully as when I was younger. Now I find myself being careful. No one has ever motivated me like Cathe but all the dvds have just been a bit much, on top of having to use so much caution with twisting etc. I'm hoping if I modify ICE, I can get the motivation and FINALLY the exercise program back on track. Fingers crossed :)

This series is awesome. I love how I finally found the Just Riiiight series. Not too tough but not too basic. Plus lots of fun.

Do you think a rotation with just the blizzard blasts and muscle meltdowns would give good results? I like that the blasts are shorter
