I *Thought* I Was In Good Shape....

Hey sparrow,

Bootcamp is a killer! I think I have only completed the whole thing once. I mostly do the premixes which I love just the kickboxing and the core work.

I think this workout kills anyone.

I feel like something the cat dragged in after I do Bootcamp.

I did Boot Camp for the first time yesterday. It's quite a harrowing experience. I had to take Tylenol this morning because my DOMS was sooo bad I actually felt sick! x( :-(

I can't wait to do it again! }(

oh, yeah. I've done Bootcamp once about a year ago and remember thinking "How can you NOT lose fat if you do this workout regularly?"

I have been eyeing that DVD to add to my collection ... now that my credit card has cooled a bit from ordering the hardcores! I just love Cathe's workouts!
Cathy :)

Bootcamp gets surprisingly easier the more you do it. (Not EASY, but EASIER.) If you do it once a week for a while, you'll be amazed at how much easier it quickly becomes.

I never thought boot camp was as hard as HSTA.........Don't get me wrong - Boot camp is not easy, but the more you do it - the easier it becomes -

However with HSTA, I am still panting by the end of that one - those leg presses and low ends in that one are killer!!! And when you finally think you are doing alright, if you add alittle more weight - it starts all over again....

BootCamp has a terrific fun factor though!!! You know you will only be doing a cardio blast for one minute and so its like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel :) the core work is phenomenol in this one!}(

I love Bootcamp - it's tough! But sooo much fun! :)

I agree with Reba, I think HSTA is a bit harder than Bootcamp. The leg presses just never cease!

Well it's nice to know that I am not the only one suffering :) I will absolutely keep doing Boot Camp, I'm going to add it once a week. My only dilemma is, what do I do it in place of? I have very little experience with circuit training. I usually do two fairly strenuous strength sessions per week (muscle endurance and maximum intensity right now) and one lighter strength session. Maybe I'll replace the lighter session...

You know, programs like BC are the reason I'm loving Cathe more and more every day! It's been a long time since a workout slayed me as Boot Camp did, especially in the cardio, it made me realize that I have been taking it too easy on myself, and has also given me a new goal. Yipee!

I am currently doing a Bootcamp rotation:D Yep I am doing it every other day!! I LOVE how it works my whole body esp. all the core work!!

~Nicole

P:S: Btw I am doing some the high impact on my rebounder!!

"Btw I am doing some the high impact on my rebounder!!"

*****************************

Heck, I have a hard enough time doing some of it on solid ground...I'd probably fall off and break my face if I tried to do it on a rebounder! LOL :p

Ok, ya'll talked me into it. I haven't done Bootcamp in a looonnggg time. I think it's just the ticket for tonight's workout. Bring on the DOMS! }(

Yes, y'all are geting to me too. I have not done Bootcamp in about 6 months. Time to get it out again, I do believe.

You know what the main problem is...Cathe has too many workouts that are so good. There is not enough days in a week to get all the ones done that you like the best!

I hear you, Renee and I totally agree! But that won't stop me from begging her to create more workouts!!

Again, it all leads back to Paris. It's all her fault.

Okay, I'm in. I haven't done BC in several months, so I guess it's time to pull it out too. I made the horrible discovery of noticing that with every new one minute segment the counter on my DVD player starts back at 0. So now I spend the whole workout staring at the counter waiting for it to hit one minute. It's amazing how slow a minute can seem.
