A REGULAR BAR BELL! I really wanted to buy the sts tower but I live in a small apartment and I really have no room for it.

So I thought, oh what the heck, I'll just buy a bar bell and weight (maybe a weight rack or something). Then I go so her shop site and SHE DIDN'T HAVE ONE! :(

I thought she did, maybe she did at one point??? anyway, anyone know where a really good barbell and weights could be bought? THANKS LADIES!:D

I have the Troy lite barbell: http://www.troybarbell.com/index.php?crn=221&rn=387&action=show_detail

You might be able to find it cheaper if you look around some.

My apartment is one bedroom, 686 sq. feet so I feel your pain! Space is always an issue.....I keep it disassembled until I'm ready to use (the bar leans against a corner in the living room and the plates are stacked up on the floor next to my dumbbell rack). I also have the STS tower-- I keep that in two pieces (the base and the top part), leaning against the wall in the bedroom and carry them out into the living room to assemble when I need it (it takes less than a minute to put it together).

Forgot to say, I get my extra plates and dumbbells at my local Play It Again Sports...used ones work just as well as new!

No, Cathe does not sell barbells (and never did). But my question is, WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING? It's only a barbell.

The old site used to have links to a lot of different fitness equipment. Such as barbells, treadmills, and the like. But her shop has never carried them that I've seen. I kinda wish they would bring those links back.

I have a small workout space as well and I have the tower. I assemble and disassemble it for every workout that I need it. It's fast and easy to do - takes less than 5 minutes and it stores flat against my little bit of wall space with my step! I love my tower!

I have never seen a barbell on Shop Cathe. From my research, she uses a Troy Lite barbell in her videos. I just ordered one and it should be here at the end of next week. I'm so excited!

Hi Alana,

I bought a great barbell set at Sports Authority and it was a good price- I think about $100. I comes with 300lbs of weights (or somewhere around their) and the bar isn't overly heavy or long. I'm only 5'0 so it was important to get a bar that wouldn't make me topple over!!

Aw thanks ladies! For the ideas and suggestions! I wasn't sure if she used to sell it a while back or not. I will indeed look into each and every suggestion! Thanks a bunch...

BTW...when I capitalize, it doesn't mean I'm shouting, it's an emotion of the "surprise/shock" element and that was the only way I thought I could express it, pardon me if I offended anyone.
