It wasn't as hard as I expected! For some reason, I was really anxious about trying it, but aside from the length, I think Bootcamp is harder. Cathe sure is the Energizer Bunny in this one! No breaks whatsoever -- just power, power, power! She really encourages you to get some height in the power moves and I found that I really tried harder when she did. Because of the speed, I was glad the choreography was kept simple. The only things I did differently were I did abs first (I always do) and pushups before the other chest work because I'm a pushup-weenie.
It's been fun for me to try all of these older workouts I've read so much about. I've thought many times, "so that's where that move originated." Two of the power circuit cardios were almost identical to a couple of Imax 2 blasts except a bit easier. (I must confess I was glad there were no genie hops after the add-on hops around the world.)
Like Cathe, I used 25#s for barbell leg work but I felt like I could go higher next time. As usual, I went lighter than she does for shoulders, triceps and chest, but matched her for biceps and back.
I felt thoroughly worked out afterward, which is what I like so much about Bootcamp. Overall, a winner I will alternate with BC and SJP for my cardio/weights day.
