I saw a vein!!!!

I'm so psyched & just had to share with those that would understand! Monday night when I was working out--PS BBA--I was pumping biceps really hard. I'm lifting heavier than before I fell off my stability ball, by the way. I looked down to check out the pump I was building in my bicep & there it was all blue-ish/purple! I got so excited I almost dropped my bar! How cool is that? I'm finally breaking down that fat layer enough to see my veins when I pump iron! LOL

Hi Anna,

No we didn't make it because we got hit with 20" of snow that weekend. I was so totally bumming! I'll make it eventually. Unfortunately, I've started that Physique Tranformation (www.physiquetransformation.com) & am not supposed to do ANY cardio for the next 7.5 weeks. And I was just building up my cardio endurance, too! So, it will be May before I go see her again, now.

Deborah- I hope I can see that vein sometime before June. I will turn 40 June 4, and I am really trying to burn that extra fat too. I really considered doing that Challenge with you, But I do not have the S&H Series. I have bought it twice, then sold it on Ebay. I LOVE Cathe, it just is not my cup of tea. I also could not use my new Intensity's for a long time because I had surgery on my toe, and I want to do some cardio for awhile. Maybe later I will try it. I could give up cardio before weights any day!!!

Deborah, Major congratulations...I am exceedingly jealous. I have been doing S&H stuff for a long time and I have veins on my forearms that stick out all the time, but I can't seem to get that bicep vein and I'm trying really hard. So what do you think was the force behind this occurance. Also, I took a glance at the site you listed. Could you sum up the your exercise program in a nutshell?

I've been doing bicep curls with 20# weights etc.....I just can't get it to pop. Any advice is welcome. My workouts consist of S&H (all parts) once a week and PUB, PLB, and another day of endurance upper body work. Don't you think this is enough upperbod work for vein to appear!!!! Thanks!!!
