I paid $20.00 per lipstick

I usually get the stuff at Priceless but I swear, I just cannot buy the right colors and I honestly don't know what is the best lipstick color for me so I just went for it and bought them at Macy's. I bought three of them and I suppose they look good, in fact I am sure they are the right color, I asked and asked people. I think I will save money this way. I won't be buying 20 lipsticks and just end up throwing them away.
Anyone else do this?????
 
Oh of course we have all done this! Let the guilt go. You got what you wanted, you look great, you bought quality and frankly you deserve it. (I am a Lancome girl myself when it comes to lipstick.)

And let's be truthful, don;t you look and feel fabulous when you put these colors on your lips?

thats funny..........i was just on ball beauty supply website, looking for discontinued opi nail colors......some rare ones are going for 25 bucks a bottle:eek: !!
 
Lipstick color can make or break your face! $20 is nothing to lose sleep over if it means your not walking around looking like or grandmothers...you know...the ones who stock up on Aquanet!
 
I laughed too, and I adore Chanel lipsticks and glosses, which are over twenty dollars a pop. They are well worth the price and stay on longer, plus the colors are gorgeous.

I sure wouldin't fit in here. I don't wear a stitch of makeup and the though of spending that much makes me cringe - simply because I don't like makeup. I probably need it though - note that I don't post an avatar! But I've spent a lot for quality on other things that I like, which is what this is all about.
 
I am a clinque/marykay gal and at Christmas I spent 200.00 on makeup and wrinkle stuff at the clinque counter.But to me the more $ the better the crap is;-) I like mk foundation and night serum but clinique for everything else.your worth it splurge.
 
I bought Prescriptives (I think that is the name). It was the first desk I came too and the salesperson didn't wear too much makeup. Remember the amount they used to wear in the early 80's? Really scary, those gals were.
