Can anyone out there please guide me? I have just gotten into Cathe workouts about 5 weeks ago, mainly for weight training/toning. Here is all my info -

I am an inter/advanced excerciser & workout 5-6x/week 45-60 min.
current cardio: running 30-50 min. or Tae Bo adv.(not crazy about "aerobics" )

Goals: gain muscle definition & strength, tone up, lose 5 lbs.

Cathe DVDs own/ordered: Upper/Lower Body Pyramid, Boot Camp, Muscle End., KPC, Legs&Glutes, Push Pull, Supersets, StretchMax (plan to order GS upper body dvds)

I prefer to do upper/lower body seperately, but can mix it up a bit.

Also, I am not sure how much straight cardio a week I should combine w/weights & if circuit style (such as BC) is still considered a "cardio" workout...so many ???s

I apologize if this post is too long, but I wanted to provide enough
info to get good advice.

Thank you so much in advance!!

Here's a suggestion or if you don't like it, maybe it's enough of something to give you a start to make your own:

Week 1
Day 1 Muscle Endurance
Day 2 Run
Day 3 PUB
Day 4 KPC
Day 5 PLB
Day 6 Rest or Stretch Max
Day 7 Boot Camp

Week 2
Day 1 Run
Day 2 Push/Pull upper body premix 2 or 3 times (can’t remember which it is)
Day 3 KPC Drills/Legs & Glutes Standing Premix
Day 4 Rest or Stretch Max
Day 5 Supersets
Day 6 Run
Day 7 Boot Camp

Based on what you have, I structured this so you are hitting everything 3 times: legs, upper body, and cardio. Also Boot Camp will provide you a little interval type work (not like the Imax's) which is why I added it in each week! (Actually in week 2 you get 4 cardio). Also, I believe Boot Camp has a cardio only premix so you could tack that on to any of your weight workouts if you are feeling energetic! Also, I love the Boot Camp Core Only Premix - you might want to tack that on if you want more abs. Not knowing how your body responds, this may or may not be of value to you. Anyway, if you want more strength, you may want to look into getting Cathe's new Gym Style workouts! I'm loving these so far. :) Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for your input! I appreciate it. It looks great! I did the BootCamp for the first time this weekend and it is tough! My muscles are sore and I sweated alot.

The GS split upper body seems very time consuming to me, but I realky want to try them. I really like doing UB. How have you been incorporating them into your routine?
