I met nickelback!!!

I saw their concert at Mohegan Sun on Sunday night. We got back stage and got our picture taken with them. They are so much cuter in person. ;). My husband and I also both caught guitar picks from Ryan and Chad.

The concert was awesome and I won $1100.00 playing quarter slots to boot. It was a great weekend.

My husband enjoyed the concert so much we are seeing them at jones beach over the summer.
 
I wondered if Shelley would chime in, knowing her feelings about Nickleback.

Sounds like you had fun. I hope I have as an exciting time in June when I'm going to my first Buffett concert.
 
Did you tell Chad to cut his hair?? :)
He'd be SUCH a good looking guy if he didn't have that awful hair! LOL!

I actually like some of their stuff. It is good to run to.

If you have heard one of their songs, you have heard all of them! ;) Actually, I really did use to like them, but I blame the radio stations for overplaying all of their stuff. Photograph, Someday, How you Remind me, aughhh!!!! I know them all by heart! I'm rather partial to some of these parody's myself: http://www.amiright.com/parody/performers/n/nickelback.shtml

"Price of Gas" in place of "Photograph" is a classic.

p.s. I would still be excited to meet them though and get to hang out with the guitarist. ;)

Actually, aside from the songs on the radio, their albums are very hard rock, very sexual. It was kinda a shock to me. I bought their album with someday on it ( i liked that and this is how you remind me and the santana song chad did) The rest of the album was nothing like their hit. They have a wide variety of music style.

My husband is really a big fan so I got the tix as a christmas gift. They actually are all really good looking I was shocked when I saw them. Didn't say much... just had a stupid grin on my face:confused:.

Seether is very similar - I hate the songs they play of them on the radio, but I saw them in person this summer and was like WOAH! ;) Avenged Sevenfold is coming to my area shortly and I would go to that just to gawk at them! ;)

Seether opened up for Nickelback. We didn't get to hear much of them because we were back stage but they have a song call F%@# me like you hate me. They sold the underwear to match. My husband got a kick out of them. From what I heard I didn't like them much.

Lol, never heard of that one! :eek: I saw them at the York Fair and I'm pretty sure that all the groups were told to keep it as clean as possible. ;)
