I can't stop doing the cardio portion of this workout! I want to do it every day. So much fun, VERY challenging. Thanks, Cathe!
 
I heart BM2!!! It's awesome. Haven't done the premixes because I love doing the whole workout. That and Drill Max are my favorites.

I am new to Cathe (2 weeks now), and I love BM2 also. I have done the cardio premix a couple of times as well as the whole workout. LOVE IT!

I also love LIC.

Cathe works me like no one else has. Thank you, Cathe!
 
I just don't LOVE this one, and only mostly due to my own frustrations. There are some moves that make me question my form and I feel like I am hurting myself.

For example, the kick on the step followed by the lunges on the floor just feels to fast. It is probably the carpet that makes the turnin more challenging, but I never feel like my form is up to par. And when I can't get my form down I get so MAD!!

Other moves like the pump up and down, or speed skaters over, are challenging as I am trying to work out the correct way to do the hamstring curl portion when I go over the step.

While the video is GREAT, I am just having personal issues with my form, and whenever that happens, I get frustrated with the routine. Especially since I am one of those that HATES to modify.

Am I the only one with these issues??
 
I also really really love this one -- definitely my favorite.

I agree with the above poster that the kick -- turn back -- lunge -- lunge back -- step -- pivot turn -- cha cha is too much on carpet.

But the cardio is still my all-time fav!
 
I swear the cardio in Body Max 2 is addictive.

I had to put myself on a strict rotation. I have 3 months of workouts laid out on a table I created in Word and I do not permit myself to deviate.

It is nice to have my workouts already set in stone.

Before I did this, I was so hung up on Body Max 2 and Low Impact Circuit, I did almost nothing else.

That is why I devised my own roation, incorporating Cathe's new videos with all her videos.

I even added Mega Step Blast to my rotation!
 
I had some issues with using an 8 inch platform for Body Max 2.

I use a 6 inch step. It keeps in in my training zone and is so much less frustrating to me.

I tried Body Max 2 on an 8 inch step and I definitely had issues with my form and safety of using such a high riser.

I am 5'1" and 52 years old and have worked out almost all my life except for a 5 year hiatus.

I don't want to risk injury and my knees did not favor the 8 inch riser used in Body Max 2. Of course, I never used 8 inches for the original Body Max either.

So have you tried the cardio on a 6 inch step? It the difference between my dreading and really liking the cardio from the video.
 
I'm right there with you. I love the routine and the music perfectly goes along with it. I like doing the premix that adds the bonus step routine at the end. Then I head back to the original routine for the circuit portion of the workout.

I like the premixes also where the bonus is done twice in a row. But the absolute best thing is doing the workout from start to finish. So much fun.

I was going to add R.S. to my rotation tonight (i'm doing the Cathe's may rotation) but now that i'm all pumped for it, I'm doing BM2; maybe one of the longer length cardio only premixes.
 
Yes, the kick, lunge, lunge, turn back... It does feel really fast. I noticed that in the video Cedie does not lunge very deeply. So I decided to do it her way and it is easier to keep the pace. I will save the lower lunges for lower body workouts.
