So we got our precious little bundle last night and named her Bella. Just wanted to post a picture of her cuz she is adorable and a bundle of energy.

That puppy is so darn cute! Congratulations. I don't think it's ever too early to get another doggie. Makes you busy with life and helps with the grieving process, IMO.

I have decided to get another puppy. My pug, Lilly, has been super depressed since her big sister went to rainbow bridge on Christmas day. Lilly is only 3.5 and is so used to having a companion running around with her. She's been sleeping a lot and not near as frisky as she was before. I think it will be great for her and for the kids. I am getting excited as the puppy is coming on Monday night. Thought I would post a picture of her (we haven't picked a name yet, any ideas?)

OMG! I think I'm in LOOOOVE! There is just nothing cuter than a pug puppy.

Laura, I haven't read other's responses, but I went through the same exact thing w/my pug when I lost my beloved Cosmo. He just moped in his crate all the time. Never wanted to play or cuddle. I got a puggle 4-5 months later--more for him than for me. It took a few months for my little guy to get used to her--first they fought like crazy, then he accepted her but was a bit standoffish, now I find them cuddling together on the couch all the time. In fact, this morning when I was in the basement working out I heard this insane commotion upstairs, so I took a break to see what was going on. They were chasing each other all over the first floor. So much fun to see them having fun together! They are the best of friends. Pugs are funny that way--they get so jealous & it seems to take them a while to allow another dog into their lives, but once they do it's a big ol' love fest.
