I just tried Leaner Legs

Cathlete
for the first time this morning and know that I will be paying for it tomorrow (or Saturday). I can already feel my hamstrings tightening! :(
Yesterday, I took a Spinning class and felt the burn in my quads. Well, if my body was already in trouble, it will be!

I loved this workout. It was short, but not sweet! }( My legs were shaking so bad during the plies. I actually had to talk myself through the last reps! :7

Which is harder?

I've haven't tried this one yet? Would you say it's harder than PLB or about the same? I was very sore after PLB.

Danielle :)

RE: Which is harder?

Leaner Legs is it's own piece of sheer terror! PLB is good, but no where near the torture of LL! :)
It's the only Cathe workout I have to actually give myself a "pep talk" in order to do it and not wimp out during the warm up!

RE: Which is harder?

IMHO, Leaner Legs contains more pain and horror than any other Cathe tape bar none.

RE: Which is harder?

Oh wow!! I definitely have to try this one now. I'm scared, because I was soooo sore after PLB.

Danielle

RE: Which is harder?

Leaner Legs is fabulous! Don't be too scared of it because it's not that long!(It only seems that way! LOL!) No one mentioned the sit and hover squats, they are sheer torture! Sometimes I just hope that the phone will ring, so that I can stop!!! BUT (there's always a but) my legs are looking a lot firmer and more shapely since I got serious with Leaner Legs. The last few weeks I've been doing PLB, but I think I'll go back to LL and add the stability ball work.

RE: Which is harder?

Thanks! I've had it for a while, but have never tried it. With Cathe there's just so much to choose from. I'll have to mentally prepare myself for this one.

Danielle ;-)

This is a great workout!

I loved the music. I think that helps get past the pain.

For me, the lunges (my hardest) and the sit and stands
(my second hardest) are the most challenging parts.
Plies don't seem to get me much at all. I'm sure there
is a part in LL that will get nearly everyone trembling
somewhere along the line.

This workout gets results! I use LL as a lighter, endurance leg workout each week and also do a heavier, strength leg workout using either PS, SH or the new PLB.

The "low ends" are what get me. I love when Cathe asks, "Which is worse: the low ends or the sit 'n' stands?" while we're doing low ends. The first time I did the workout, I yelled, "These are!" and just about died when she said, "I heard you - these are!" :7

Just another plug for LL. This is a workout that I am afraid to leave out of my rotation for more a week. My workout buddy describes it as "wicked." I am really nervous to do the workout because I have been doing the new IS. I have to admit that this workout made the PLB a lot easier.

Terri :) :)
