I have never heard of this Cathe tape!

Was looking on ebay for cathe workouts and I saw one that I have never seen. I was labeled Fit and Firm by cathe friedrich in 2000. I have never heard of this workout. Is this really one from her? I could not make out the lady on the front cover, so could not tell if it was her.

Hoping you ladies can fill me in here.

Fit & Firm is one of Cathe's videos, but it's older than 2000. I think it's from the mid 90's. It's out of print.

I think they are even older than that. My first Cathe workout was "Step in Motion III," circa 1993. There were at least two workouts (Step in Motion I and II) that preceded it.

I have The Home Step Workout. I don't use it, but I keep it as a reminder of how hard Cathe has worked and how far she's come, both with her physique and in her career. Lots of whooping in The Home Step Workout. Cedie is in there, too. Wow, what a babe!

Pinky:)

I have Rock Bottoms, which Dawn another fellow Catheite so generously gave me. It is painful to watch. Cathe has come a long way and the caliber of material she put's out now is tops. Just goes to show how good experience is to all of us.

Becky!!!! LOL Where did you get those? Oh my goodness! Haha. For some reason that Cardio Step Challenge cover is cracking me up.

Whatever it was zillion years ago it's not what it is now. Cathe is the best :)

It's amazing what you can come up with when you do a Google search for Cathe! :) I can't get over how old workouts (not just Cathe's) have this weird 80s sexual look! I hope that's not offensive, but the poses for the video covers minimize the instructor's hard work and maximize their *cough* assets. :p

JMHO,

It is rather odd! I wonder if we actually do that pose in the workout?

Those covers aren't as bad as some circa 1998 covers, like, I think Step Max (the "armpit" shot!). They have certainly improved (well, except for that Body Fusion cover that looks like Cathe is trying to chase away bees or cover her privates).

I have a couple of the oop titles and I am trying to find the rest. Anyone want to sell them? Send me a message! :)

It's true, Marla! Good point about experience.

When I first saw those covers, I thought, wow, what was she thinking when the photographer told her to hold that pose? It's great that now exercise can be about selling your body as a strong capable machine rather than as a Flashdance sexy one- there are more reasons than sexiness to exercise!!
