i still look like a stuffed sausage in my jeans, but if i suck in, i have no gut! this is a big deal b/c before this week, no matter how much i sucked in, my gut was present. i am losing inches, but no lbs. sort of exciting i think. i can't wait until i don't have to suck in anymore!!!

Oh God Jes, you have such a way with words!! You almost made me spit my tea out!!! I doubt very much you look like a stuffed sausage:p But that is such good news though.......there is progress being made and isn't that soooooo incredibly exciting???!!

Hey, Jes, I know how you feel.

I've not seen the pounds coming off much either, but I've sure felt a difference in how my clothes fit, and I've seen a difference in the mirror, too. My tummy is flatter, but I still have to suck in to make it look really flat. Used to, my shirts would touch my tummy, but now they hang down and don't...I just noticed that this week and was like, "Yoo-hoo! I'm making progress!"

So, just stick with it! The pounds will start coming off for both of us eventually. They're bound to as we start replacing our little fat pockets with power-packed muscle instead! :)
 
hey catwoman! i personally have not been keeping measurements b/c i get obsessed with the #s..... so i'm focusing on the "fit" of my clothing. do you measure?

That's the best way to measure your progress, that and getting to the point where you're not splayed out "like roadkill" over your step. LOL!

I thought you were going to tell us you were pregnant. I guess this is cool, too, but not as exciting.:( But don't get me wrong - I'm very happy you're losing some inches. It's a great feeling, eh?
