....and its a big black crow! hehe Actually he is only small. I feel bad for the guy cause he is always at my garbage so I thought, if you can't beat um...join um. He comes back everyday, 2-3 x's and waits on the patio for some food.
DH isn't impressed but thats to bad.He sees the bread thrown around and says "your not feeding that crow again, are you"? I figure if he isn't hungry he won't be picking at my garbage right? I guess I could always get a garbage bin but why not through my moldy bread or dried up cookies out to the crow. Now, if there were more then one of them i would have a prob but its just one...and I think its the same one all the time! LOL;)

That is so cute. I think it's a sign of a kind soul. Give him a piece of crumb or something from me, will ya...I hear they are very smart birds.

Enjoy your little friend and keep us posted about him,

Janie

The idea is to die young as late as possible

Uh oh,you know what they say...where theres one-more will follow:eek: ;-) ( or is that what they say about rabbits? Not sure:7

Thats so cute! I live on a lake and use to have a VERY ugly duck that would hang around my front porch. I felt sorry for him,He looked kinda like a duck/turkey! so I started feeding him and named him George :D (because he just seemed so curious about everything,ya know like curious George,LOL)

If they're not getting bread at your door, they'll raid your bird feeder. What's the harm? I think it's cute. I used to have a squirrel that would visit.

Sounds like my friendly tree squirrel. He actually came down the tree this past weekend when I was petting the cat who was lounging in the sun under the redwood trees.

Was kinda funny - so I will usually put some nuts, veggies, or other healthy foods on the fence for him to take up the tree to his hiding place . . .

I just love nature :7

He was around a fair bit yesterday. I kept throwing stuff out and he kept taking it away somewhere. I guess he was hiding it.Im wondering how tame he will get? Right now he flies away when I open the door but I think when he gets to trust me, he probably won't move. Now, I wouldn't actually touch the bird! hehe You never know what kind of bugs these animals are carrying around with them and I don't want to get my hand picked off!

Lori:)

I think it's cute, too...but do keep an eye out for west nile.

As for your garbage, spray the bags with ammonia. When I lived in NM the crows there were awful and would tear open garbage bags and everything and the only thing that kept them away from the bags was to spray the bags with a little ammonia.
