I Hate Cardio Check-In, 4/4

Up and at 'em!! Let's go! Let's do cardio! She's doin' her cardio! She's a cardio chick! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!

I did, yes, I did do my cardio last night, the first day of my first ever Cathe rotation. It was the first time I'd done BS in months. I think I've only done it 2 or 3 times and I'd had a lot of trouble getting through it. Well, last night I did the whole thing without modifications. I only stumbled a few times doing that dreaded "around the world" combo. I am such a klutz! Okay, I realize that BS is like a stroll in the park for your average Catheite, but hey, I'm not average!

Today is supposed to be a rest day on the beginners rotation but I'm going to do a Leslie somethin somethin so as not to thwart my wt loss goal.

Got LOTS to do today so I'm off. I'll be checking back to see if you gals are checkin in;)

I'm doing Cathe's Official Beginner's Rotation that she pinned on the Rotations forum a few days ago. You die hard, cardio lovin maniacs would scoff at it, I'm sure--LOL! I'm modifying the rotation to include MORE cardio, if you can believe that. I'm either going to walk or do floor aerobics like Leslie on the off days.

Thanks for asking and I really do appreciate the encouragement. Cardio is such a chore for me;)

Hola Cardio Haters!!

I had a brief moment, of "I'm feeling a little thinner" this morning..but absolutely refuse to step on the scale. The scale lies to me, and makes me sad. I'm relying on my jeans, which UI will try on every 2 weeks.

I need to keep this cardio going and need to branch out beyond my LIS and HSC. I'll spend some time later working on an April rotation.

I managed to squeeaze in HSC in between hardwood floor workers leaving and the evening routine. I really felt good that I did that.

Ellen- BIG pat on the back for getting the workout in while trying to get your floors done! You rock!

Michele- day 2....ohhhh...day 2.....I am thinking running on the treadmill in a few minutes. My shins are killing me from the last run on Sat, still getting the hang of running again, it's been about a year since I ran. I made it through 3 parts of LowMax yesterday and got mad about the step sweep, pivot turn so I got on the treadmill. You don't have to think when on the treadmill. Trying to burn more fat by doing cardio before breakfast, little experiment. Will report results. No rest for you today?? No wait, is it April fools day again?

Diane- High rolla', that's your new name. 8 minutes of running, girl you are on your way to the marathon in Jan. Great work! Just fab...

Dana- Did I read correctly 7 miles yesterday? If so you are my hero.

Char- I think I am going to call you Char-Char....how is that?

Hello Haters!

Got my heart rate up with some jumping and then along with some pumping, iron that is. Had a ton of fun! Anyhow, today is more cardio. I will be doing L/G and a 14 mile bike ride.

The scale could be telling us a few things...water weight, increase in muscle mass or fat. Keep your workouts intense and keep a food journal. If your doing everything right and the mirror is still your friend then don't let the scale get you down.

Michele - Wow, adding cardio to a Cathe rotation. That is impressive. Once you get the steps down, maybe BS might even be... *gasp* ... fun! Or maybe not.

Ellen - I hear you on not getting on the scale. Just when I feel confident that I lost a pound or so, I step on the scale only to find that I gained! I don't care why I gained (water weight, muscle mass) I just don't want to know that I gained. I would rather just be happy that I feel good and fit into my clothes.

Charlotte, aka Char Char/crazy girl - Your workouts always impress me! No wonder you look so great!

Today I had a full body muscle endurance workout planned, but did not get up in time this morning (stayed up too late reading Harry Potter). So I will try and fit one in after work - though it is just so hard when American Idol is on ;-)
 
Hey chickies. Not doing cardio today. I just got back from a meeting and it is COLD out. In the 40's and super windy so I'm not walking today. I want to start the April rotation so I"m going to do S&H legs tonight.

Just wanted to pop in and say "hi" . . . back to work for me!

I did Imax 2 today....it was supposed to be Imax 3 but I decided to step it down a notch. I really worked it hard so it was good:)

I must have missed something is morning, I just read Michele did BS and made it through with out injury.......wow....hehehe!!! YEAH!!!
Now it's time for Cardio and weights (hehehehehe....) just wait.

Char- You are offically Toasty Char-Char, love it. What do you think?

Diane- Must have the details on Harry. I have no time to read anymore. By the time 10 rolls around I am ready to fall over. DD is in a new stage of "I like to see how loud I can scream!" I have explained to her it is not polite to be so loud even if we are home.

Robin- ummm....Imax 2 is still a butt kicker. Rock on!

Made it through 30 mins of treadmill run/walk and PUB this morning. I
was going for 45 this morning, but my darn knees are just not doing to well.

Back to cleaning. I need a cleaning crew to clean this place. Either that or I need to not be so OCD on cleaning.

How is everyone else today?
 
I did 30 min of Step Fit today. I would have done more, but I'm working out in a smaller space this week, and couldn't do all the moves.

So..I was happy with 30 min. :)
 
I'm sorry to report that I did not do my cardio today (well, I'm not exactly sorry). In my defense, I'm following a rotation and today was supposed to be my day off so I decided to take it. The cardio I planned was EXTRA.

I was sooooo tired today. I didn't get to bed until around 1 AM last night and was up at 4 AM to see my DH off (he had an early flight to catch). Anyhoo, I fell asleep later in the morning and slept about 3 hours, then I had to do some shopping for my MIL which turned out to be quite a fiasco. It entailed running around to 3 different stores scatterd across 2 cities to find a particular confection for her grandchildren for Easter. All this to say that by the end of the day, I was too friggin tired for cardio. I won't miss it tomorrow, I swear.
