I had a MORTIFYING thought about Cathe last night

It occured to me she might someday retire! I'm maybe 3 years younger than she is & I'm starting to plan for it--certainly if I could afford it I'd do it today! Of course Cathe's job is much better than mine, but still........

I hope she has a bright young protege in training so when the disaster happens there's someone who can step in!

I don't know. She is like the energerizer bunny. Way too much energy! We are all going to get old together with Cathe!;) I just know it for sure!

I tend to agree. Fast forward forty years from now and she will have her own line of advanced wheel chair workouts. :7

Beavs,

I love Beavis and Butthead, where did you get the pic from?

And I have also pondered on Cathe retiring but it's too frightening to think about.

I cannot remember where I found that pic. I too and a B&B fan and adopted the moniker from my humorous and slightly eccentric nephew whom I have referred to as Beavis or Beavs since he was four years old (he's now 18 lol!)

I've had that thought before too. Mostly when I think about how long she's been doing it. But then I think...damn! That girl is in shape! She'll be one of those grannies who doesn't have to do water aerobics at the Y.

Cathe has more energy than anyone I've ever seen or known! I don't picture her retiring for years to come.

Also, I'm older than Cathe so I'll wear out long before she does.:p
You young gals are on your own!

What Ruth said!
:)

You're not alone. Actually I think about that quite often. I don't know who would substitute Cathe, she's very unique. I would hate it, but I know that she definitely deserves it.

lol!

That's why I think she needs a protege. A CIT so to speak. :p

Well, since we're just about the same age I guess I'll be buying those wheelchair DVDs in about 30 years or so........:+ I guess first we'll get the Cane Crusher series, then the Walker Warrior series, & finish up with the Wild Wheelchair series. }(

She has two sons, maybe one of them will follow mommy's footsteps? I mean even Tony Horton will retire eventually so somebody will have to substitute him. I hate to say this because there are people here that love Tony too. Aaaaah I personally can't imagine how hard my life would be without having advanced instructors like Cathe and Tony.

Cane Crusher? lol! I don't know, I'll probably end up with the granny's at the Y. Seriously now, I hurt my back in mid July and I noticed how much I need a Cathe low impact series (I'm getting kind of bored with LM, LIC, and KM low impact premix, I need more choices for advanced low impact cardio!). Somebody recommended the sit and be fit series and I previewed them...no thanks! I'm used to Cathe's personality. Maybe having a wheelchair dvd (or for my iPod) where cardio and toning is all done in a sitting down position it's not a bad idea after all.

Here's a thought. When CATHE is older, that means WE'RE older to. So if she's still filming new workouts they'll still fit us just fine. Just a thought!
