Hi Guys,
I don't post here often but I do lurk from time to time. Let me give you a little background on me. A couple of years ago I lost almost 70 pounds doing weight watchers and Cathe step workouts from FitTV. I kept most of the weight off but over the last 6 to 7 months I kinda got bored and and a little depressed over family things and I stopped working out regularly and started eating more and I prob. gained back about 25 pounds.
I told my DH that I know I need to get back on track and I also realize that instead of doing mostly cardio...I need to start getting into doing more weight routines. He bought me the STS mesocycle 1, the tower, and a barbell weight set for Christmas.
As much as I am excited to start this new workout routine...I am also a little scared. I am mostly a step workout girl and I know I am not going to be able to do all the push-ups and pull-ups in the STS workouts. I guess I am going to have to just try it and little by little I will get stronger and better each time.
I am sure I will be posting here with more questions as I start the series. Any advice for a weight workout newbie would be appreciated! From what I have read...it seems like I may have to do the Mesocycle 1 more than once since I don't usually do these types of workouts...am I right?
