I am the world's wimpiest weakling!!!

You guys are soooooo nice! I'm appalled that this post ...which I put in the wrong place...didn't go away when they changed the format. Happy Catheing!! Bethc:)

I'm finally reading this...and cracking up! Not only is it a funny story, but you tell it so well! Keep on lifting...you'll get there!

Oh Beth!! I'm just now reading this! I am laughing so hard -- I hope I don't wake the kids.

I'm with Leela....what a twit that guys was. He should have carried that box to your car.

I was laughing so hard when you said he looked in the box at the "shiny, yellow, weights"!! Hahahaha! Oh my!

You will get to use them one day, Beth, and you will be SOOO happy, too! :D I admire your persistance. Would you be mad if I told you that I'm ready for a set of 30 pounders on some of my lifts?? ;-) Hang in there!!!

Hi Beth!

Cathe forgive us for using your forum space! I don't how I missed this one! Beth this is so funny, bless your heart! I can totally relate to your dilema. Have the 20's sitting there just waiting for the day I can actually use them. We'll just keep on keepin' on!

Beth,
It's always fun to read about someone else's clutziness, then I don't feel so bad if I do something clutzy!

Re: the salesman (sales "boy"?): What nerve of him to imply that you shouldn't be buying weights you can't lift. And how ignorant! You may not be able to lift 40# or even 20# in a regular carrying position, but you might be able to do a 1-arm lat row with the weight.
