I am in awe of Cathe right now!!!

I just found Cathe in the last 3 or 4 months after needing a break from P90X and Beachbody programs in general. I haven't done anything BUT Cathe during this time. I decided today to do Plyo X and was a bit nervous as I hadn't done it in forever and whenever I used to do it it would be one of those workouts that would leave me feeling like I needed to hurl after I was done with it...it would completely deplete me!!

Well I just finished it and I am in complete awe that it was no where near as hard as it used to be for me. I even worked harder than I ever worked before and I was still no where near as tired after finishing it. I'm in shock at how much Cathe's stuff has increased my cardio endurance!! Don't get me wrong it was still a heck of a workout...but I actually don't feel like I need to visit the porcelein goddess this time...heehee. Just thought I'd share my small bit of excitement that I had today :D .

Deni,
Thanks for sharing that. I've read similar comments by others (about other workouts getting easier) and that gets me so pumped that Cathe's workouts are going to help me reach my goals.

the only ones that compete are some of the cia's i have but i get more winded trying to catch up the choreography then i am in the air with the pylo jumps. when i only do cathe cardio and running, my runs are just that much stronger and better.

Deni, that is great! I love how something like this happens and you can really measure your progress. Keep truckin' girl :) .

Isn't she the most extrordinary woman and instructor? I love her so much! I have a Kari Anderson DVD on the way but Cathe has been my sole instructor for years and years and with her body of work, I want for nothing in the workout department.

Thanks guys...I was gushing to my DH last night after he got home from work (he also does P90X):7 :7 . I have to say though...my legs are just as sore today as they used to be after Plyo X   !!

Definitely! I'm in somewhat the opposite situation - I've been doing Cathe exclusively (mixed in with a lot of running) for a long while now, and JUST started P90X. I found PlyoX to be a great workout, but not for the cardio aspect (decent cardio, but nothing coming close to rivaling something like Imax1, for example) - for the leg workout! I thought it was a good solid cardio workout, but I wasn't dying by any means - but the legs/glutes? Woo Boy, are they talking to me today! Even that aspect, Cathe's use of plyo in her cardio work had me quite prepared for PlyoX. I can't imagine attempting that workout without a super solid cardio base, with lots of previous plyo experience. Cathe certainly covers all the bases!
