I admit it, I actually WHOOPED...

Cathlete
...during my first try of Rhythmic Step last night. Thanks to the encouragement of others here, I just went ahead and gave it a shot. MUCH to my surprise, I did it. It wasn't very pretty mind you...there was plenty of bumbling along the way, but there were moments when I followed along flawlessly.

The "whoop" came here...for those very familiar with RS, hopefully you'll know what part I'm talking about. Last routine:

straddle
in-sole
turn around
go up on the board
drop squat
pendulem
WHOOP!
drop squat
cha-cha across the board

The WHOOP just flew out. I've never whooped before...ever...and it just couldn't be contained. I actually giggled at myself! Even my husband heard me and asked if I was enjoying my workout. Was I EVER!

Rhythmic Step is sheer brilliance and Cathe simply shines in her obvious area of true expertise. The cues were flawless, the choreography seamless, the routines...smoother than silk. I found myself just letting my mind go and couldn't believe how perfect the lead-ins and routines jived. When she managed to cue me through that zig zag challenge at the end, it was as if she held my hand straight to the end.

Cathe consistently amazes me. It's funny too...because RS was the very last tape I needed to complete my Cathe collection and it blew me away. Now, I have every tape and there is no more Cathe for me to buy until the next series arrives. I already can't wait to keep expanding the library.

Thanks ladies for encouraging me to just do it and for listening to me gush. When I try to explain it to anyone else...they look at me like I'm fanatical. I'm glad we "fanatics" have a place to share our thoughts or I would go nuts.

Happy Valentine's Day!

That's it, you're done now!!! You will never be able to do another Cathe step tape without whooping! I had a similar experience with IMax & that was the end. Now I find myself whooping while doing all step tapes & even caught myself doing it this morning while doing CTX Kick boxing!

Have fun, whoop it up!!!

LOL! I love that part of RS too - it's definitely whooping material. ;-) That's the part that kicks my but and gets my heartrate soaring.

I have been singing along to the tunes in Imax2 lately... I can't help myself but to make some noise because I get so into it. See ladies, THAT is the joy of working out in your own home!

That's great!! The RS routines are smoother than silk. I just love her workouts they are such a blast!! That's so funny about the whooping!

Happy Valentine's Day to you too!!! Today's my son's birthday, he turned 7!! So I have a lot to celebrate today!!

Woo-Hoo!!

Danielle ;-)

Now, just who WAS encouraging you to whoop?:+

Letswork,

You captured that so perfectly! I have just started using Rhythmic Step just recently as well and I understand you perfectly. It is so much fun! I wish she would do another one - she is so great at fun choreography and cuing!

I'll be thinking of you the next time I whoop my way through that workout!
