Husband coming home from Iraq!!!

Let me add my well wishes, and thanks to you, your DH and your family for the sacrifices made for our country. Enjoy his return.

Toni, that is GREAT! I am so happy for you! I will definitely keep him in my thoughts and prayers for a safe return home and like someone else here said, thank YOU for all your sacrifices you've made. It does not go un-noticed! Welcome to Cathe's place. We are are so glad to have you here!!!

That's great! I'm sure this year has been stressful for you. I'm so glad he'll be home for the holidays! Hopefully this will be his last deployment for a while. I was so hoping this war was going to end. My dh is in the military too, they are so overstretched on people and resources, the last thing they need is this war dragging on. (Or more people getting killed.) Anyway, so glad your husband will be home soon! :) :)

What great news! Absolutely thank him for all of his work that he has done. And thank you for being so patient as he goes over there to help others! You're both heros in my mind!

Wow, you are so lucky your husband has not deployed yet. In the past 4 1/2- 5 years my husband has deployed four times already. And that's not to mention all of the times he's had to be away for schools or in the field so be very thankful that you have him close and don't ever take it for granted. My husband deployed in spring of 2001 to Kuwait for 45 days. Then he got deployed to Kuwait again in November 2001 - March 2002 (after Sept. 11). Then he went to Iraq in Feb. of 2003 - June 2003 and now he is in Iraq again since Dec. 2004 and is about to come home. I hope that your husband never has to deploy but if he ever does, stay strong and make sure to have a good support system. Good luck and tell your husband thanks for serving too. God bless.

Toni
