Mmmmm I love humus. I dip raw vegetables in it, use it for a sandwich spread, spread it on toasted whole grain sourdough bread and dip pita chips in it when I'm being bad.
My favorite thing to do with it is use it as a spread for wraps. Use a tortilla shell, spread it with humus, and your favorite raw veggies and you've got a delicious and nutritius lunch.
I love toasted pimento cheese sandwiches but don't have to indulge in those now since I found roasted red pepper hummus. To me it is as good as my pimento cheese. I use hummus mostly for a sandwich spread and on pita bread.
i tired to buy pitas! i can't find them anywhere! they only had frozen ones at Basic Foods and that is the last resort i had:-( where do you get pitas?
well,of course not! i found the ww pizza crust in the frozen section of the health food store. i was so happy to find it! so later in the week i am making pizza. i also got some organic tomato paste. i think my first attempt will be spinach and mushroom with black olives. i'll let ya know how it turns out.
