<<<<<hump day CHEETAHS>>>>>

Thanks Christine. I'm gonna give it a shot and see what happens. :)

So I've decided against the Power class for my obligation at work. They offer yoga, pilates and a yoga/pilates mix class so I am going to take one of them each week instead. It's something I don't get often enough anyway and easier to fit into my w/o schedule since it's not cardio or weight lifting. Funny thing is, I was just telling Cathy that I would have no idea where to fit pilates (and yoga for that matter) in these days. I guess this will force me to figure it out so perhaps, even though it's a stupid policy and a pain in the behind, it's a blessing in disguise as it will make me do it every week. I am going to start with the yoga/pilates mix class at 10:30am on Friday. I may go earlier and get a run in before hand as well. ;)

Okay, off to make supper. In the mood to get it out of the way today. I usually put it off until the last minute when I am cooking! LOL

BBL for personals, I promise!!!!!

Karen :: Did DH take care of the party mix for ya? Problem here is I like salt *and* sugar.

Posh :: 'Course, we miss ya when you can't post!! Big congrats on the loss and overall health improvements...that's awesome, and yes, I'm extremely envious! Sounds like Gillian was indeed the right choice for you!...I got a kick out of hearing what-all Phelps eats, too...Oooh, a massage--enjoy! :)

Judy :: glad the yoga instructor had some helpful solutions for you.

Wendy :: I definitely think you should have the program set to VERY active. This was a dilemma for me, too. I feel like I should be something in between those two settings. As for taking a rest day--think about what you did here: Crazy-insane workouts all weekend on little sleep, a workout Monday, and then the B&G Leg Blast *PLUS* a run. Personally, I think you probably SHOULD give yourself a break...or you could just switch today with whenever you had a rest day planned next. But really, you can go guilt-free on this one!!...BTW, the yoga/pilates mix class sounds terrific.

Christine :: OK, I can see those workouts are aptly named. Nice job! I read Lance finished Boston in 2:50:58. Would have to put rockets in my shoes to catch a glimpse. :)

I opted for the original BC today. Had a run-in with some zucchini bread. Oops. Need to go add that in, and see what the damage is.

Have a great night, all! :)

Hi Cheetah Gals!

I have been busy the last two days. My house is kinda messy so I feel like I need to do some cleaning/laundry instead of posting personals right now. Sorry!! :(

No workout yesterday since I was so busy all day. Today I got in a fantastic 4 mile run to an itread I hadn't done before since I couldn't fit it on my old ipod. Hope all are doing great!!!! :)

Dallas...don't ya just love doing whatever workout you want!! Yes, I can feel a difference when I eat this good. Yesterday I felt great. I think my race screw up was on a 5 miler. A marathon, that would be awful!! Race photos can take a few days depending on the company.

Wendi..wow! killer workout...:D..I forgot how long GS C&T's was so I skipped the last few exercises due to time.

Cathy...I am blonde but not nuts!! I wouldn't run in 110! That was out predicted high today, although my thing shows 113. When I ran it was about 81. Thanks, I was happy to get that GPA...:D... I go hate that when the zucchini bread jumps out at you!! How was the damage?

Karen...glad to hear you have some fallish days, I hope to have some soon! Good job on the 5 mile interval run. I bet you are feeling good because of the nutrition software! I get the Vita E from my Multi vitamins. The Multi's are supposed to be taken as 4 a day but now I take only 1 or 2. I was very happy with the 3.96. I try for at least 3.5's. I don't think the high sodium will bother you unless you have some high blood pressure problems, seems like most anything in a box or can is high in sodium. I never really worry about it myself, but I am trying to keep it a bit lower and they do give you some leeway if you go above 1500 mg.

Posh...maybe you should try the nutrition software again as I think they have worked out a lot of the issues. Congrats on the 6 lb loss!! Enjoy your massage.

Judy...once I see the scale start to move, I do become a lot more focused. Now don;t be confused, P90X does have weights in the workouts, it is P90X+ that has more of your body weight exercises (pull-ups, push-ups for ex). I love doing LIC with my EXT.

Wendy..I for sure think you should up your activity level on the nutrition software. 1413-1913 sounds more accurate for you. My cals are at 1239-1739 and I stay mostly midrange but am rarely hungry.

Christine...thanks for the high 5! No, not Saffron oil but Safflower oil!! Safflower has the highest amount of Omega 6 as far as the oils. I guess Phelps was trying to get to 200 lbs with the high cals. Geeze, if I ate like that I'd be 200 lbs in not time...:D..Sounds like you got in an awesome spinerval workout.

Gloria...good job with the iTread!

Ok, so the sodium thing is really bothering me. I looked over all my food and I had two cups of summer squash listed with my dinner that I was going to eat.. According to the calculation there is 510 mg of sodium in one cup of squash. That has to be wrong. So i switched it to zuchini and now my sodium is 1600. I belive that is a glitch. I 'm happy to have figured it out. I never thought to look at squash.
