How wide are your thighs?

I measured mine in September and was 20 1/2 inches. Now is 21 1/2 inches. No wonder I am having a hard time fitting into jeans lately.

21 inches here but needs a little more tightening up and definition.

22 in the widest part (the upper part, where most of the fat is- I hate the tapering down the thigh that it creates). 15.5 in the thinnest part, near the knee.

At least they are bigger than my calves! Actually, 18 and 1/2 inches in the widest part...hmmm.... I guess I have to work on those hamstrings.

20.5 to 21 usually but they are 22 right now due to some very poor eating in the month of November. My butt is in on the conspiracy also!!! ;( x(

>I keep trying to measure, but they are jiggling too much!!!!

ROFLMAO....I just spit my Red Bull out all over my keyboard...I have to go clean it up now.

you know, not to be the party pooper, but these numbers are SO relative. 20 vs 21 vs 23 means very different things depending upon your build, genetics, etc. I read these responses and the numbers mean nothing to me. If i see what you look like, maybe I'd get a better sense. Just my dime, quarter, and a couple nickels.

Debbie - I agree with you. But it is fun to compare, regardless of lack of meaning.

There is one thing that's bothering me though. I'm 5'10, wear a size 12 (want to get to an 8/10) and from what I'm reading, my thighs are kind of an average - a higher average - but not atypical. Why are so many of the pants that I try on tight in the thighs??? My thighs do not LOOK that big. It's frustrating. Who wears these things?

I have the same problem. I especially have trouble with boot cut slacks and jeans because of the way the narrow through the thigh before they flare out. I get the best fit from wide leg or straight leg trousers.

Ralph Lauren -- I bought a pair a couple of weeks ago. Jones New York also had a trouser jean and they were very cute. They had a slightly dressier look to them.
