How often... Pyramids??

I tried to search for this topic this morning... but I guess I'm searched challenged!!!:eek:

How often do you guys do PUB & PLB per week??
Once or twice??

Just trying to figure out a new rotation for myself.

Hi Terri,

I personally rotate PUB/PLB no more than 2 times a week. In between I work in cardio, pilates and yoga for stretching and I only go up on the pyramids with heavier weights. I have great definition (finally!) after about 9 months of steady weight training. Hope this helps.

Hi Terri! I personally slip in ME, PH or MIS on one of my days instead of doing these 2 tapes 2x a week. So many tapes, so little time. HTH, Kathy:7
 
Hi Terri,

On my last PUB/PLB rotation I did PUB 2x/week plus half of PLB. So I would do PUB plus the barbell work of PLB one day and PUB plus the stability ball floor work on the other day. Depending on how heavy I lifted and how I felt, I would also add in PH, ME, or an upper body premix on the weekend since I like to work my upper body 3x/week. Hope that helps:D

I like to do PUB & PLB twice a week when I am doing them. I use the premixes and do up only or down only using the heaviest weights I can muster. This cuts down on time and has given me muscle definition. Don't you love the pyramids?!:7

I guess everyone has their own preference and it depends on what you're trying to achieve. Right now I do each of those once a week and then do PH, or ME once a week (and then do cardio, Boot Camp, etc. the other days). That way my muscles are getting one real heavy day and one lighter day. Just another option!
 
I did PUB twice a week, then PLB twice a week. Never did PUB & PLB together in one day. Imagine the sheer torture!
 
When I was doing the Pyramids, I would also do them each twice a week. For example, PLB on Monday and Thursday, and PUB on Tuesday and Friday.
 
I try to get them in twice per week. I do PUB chest, back and shoulders on Monday, then PUB triceps, biceps and abs on Tuesday. Wednesday is the first part of PLB, and Thurs. is the second part. Then on Sat I do the full PUB and on Sunday the full PLB. This is the most my schedule will allow. I like to do all 5 sets for each exercise.
