How many of us here?

In all the excitement of winning or losing a mug, my husband asked the question "How many people are in your little group anyway"? I think that his assumption was that we are small if the offer can go out for free mugs.....I didn't tell him about the pre-order part!;-) No need for that, he just likes me working out, and that is all he needs to know:) It made me wonder though. I know you cannot count people who lurk ( a term that was new to him), and there are occasional posters, and the regulars....but still, is there a way to find the total number of registered users?

Yes, I'd like to know this too....is there some way of conducting a poll on these forums to find out how many people have won? I'm sure I saw a poll on here before!

edited to say: p.s. on http://69.0.137.118/dc/dcboard.php it says there are 6736 registered members! Sorry, I misread your intial post!

I looked at the profiles pages and I suppose one could add up the profiles. I did a quick count in my head (okay, I started in paper but gave up) and figure there are around 5,000-6,000 or so (very rough...please allow for very bad math). :)

I don't think you mis read anything:) I am curious about a grand total of our "little" group as well as how many people may have mugs coming. Silly I know, but my husband got me to thinking.

Also, I just thought that this may be in the wrong forum. Sorry! Initially I thought Step N Motion could give a number of users, I didn't see it on the site.

It says on the "ask Cathe" page, where all the forums are listed, that there are 6738 registered users as of now.

By the time I looked this morning, about 300 people had read the presale details thread. I'd guess that most of the people who ordered the set looked at it yesterday. That would likely be a more accurate gauge of how many preordered than the number of people registered on the site.

I guess after reading all the replies to the original post, I got confused about the original question (if that makes any sense). I agree, the number of people registered is not an indication of how many people preordered.

I found out through the e-mail though so anyone who is subscribed to the e-mail list found out friday...hard to tell I guess
