How many "double-dipped"?

Okay . . . how many of you pre-ordered DVD's AND vids for the Body Blast series? I just crumbled a few minutes ago and pre-ordered the Step Blast, KickPunchCrunch and StepPumpJump vids to tide me over until my whole combo-platter complement of DVD's arrive.

I'm hopeless, are you?

I am trying so hard to not do that this time. I did it with the IS and I was going to try to force myself to wait for my DVD's this time. But my goodness...... I don't know if I can wait!
I will probably cave too

I think I'll be just fine waiting for my DVDs ONLY (and I repeat ONLY), because I haven't even been able to fiddle with the Intensity Series yet. I've only done IMAX2 a couple of times, I bought the Terminator right before I left for vacation, and I just bought The Classics DVD and Cardio Hits a week ago. Hopefully it's enough to keep me distracted. And I'm not in the greatest of shape right now... I don't want to humiliate myself in front of my kitties when the Body Blast arrives :D

I thought I could wait on DVD's, but I can't. However, I'm only going to allow myself one VHS. So, I think I'll wait until Cathe or SNM gives us more detail and then I'll make my decision. I'm leaning toward Kick, Punch and Crunch though! I figure if I can get through that one, the rest will be a piece of cake!

RE: How many "double-dipped"?

I just ordered the vhs b/c it comes out earlier.I am always so afraid that I am going to scratch the dvds. They are great things to have but I would have them ruined for sure.Especially with my little girl taking the dvds out of the dvd player.I own the intenesity dvd and I love it, I was hoping that they were gonna put out a body blast dvd but I haven't heard, as anyone else?

RE: How many "double-dipped"?

I ordered them both during the first phase of the presale. I wasn't spending $200, I was saving $100. It is all in how you look at it. My excuse is that I have gotten my mother( who is 66) doing all of Cathe's weight tapes so I told her I would use them until the dvds come in and then give the tapes to her. so once again, I am not spending too much money, I am being a good daughter. hee hee

RE: How many "double-dipped"?

I ordered the DVD's and now am on the edge of buying the VHS...the tension is mounting as I see the pictures. Last time it was torture waiting for the DVD's. I may have to cave and get the VHS. In fact I've had my credit card out more then once this week and have resisted. I'm almost hopeless....

RE: How many "double-dipped"?

For the Intensity series, I only had a VCR, so I wasn't tortured. Early this year, I converted to DVD and just KNEW my head would explode during the waiting for the DVD's, so I ordered both at the pre-sale. I, too, rationalized that I was saving $100, and that really, a session with a trainer in NYC is almost that!

RE: How many "double-dipped"?

I just ordered a single VHS (got all the DVDs): Kick Punch and Crunch. By the time the DVDs arrive I will still be learning the KP&C video. Then it will not be so overwhelming. (I am still learning the IS workouts).

I earn a pathetically paltry $12,000 a year as a grad student teacher, so I am not double dipping. I'm gonna be a good girl and wait patiently while you all start whooping and having fun without me!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaaaaaaargh! (In September I think I'll head to a high mountain in Montana and not take my laptop with me..........)

I wish!!! I just know I couldn't get it past DH though. I didn't have a DVD player when Intensity Series came out & have felt so left out whenever I read the posts about what you could do with these DVDs. So I preordered Body Blast on DVD, then had to buy a DVD player (finally got it last week). Well, I was "worried" that I may not be able to program my 5-disc player to play chapters from different discs. So my DH asked if there were other DVDs I could get while waiting for the Body Blast series?!!! Heck, yes! My Intensity Series DVDs will be arriving next Tuesday including the Terminator. So I've actually double-dipped for the IS series. I think that'll keep my busy enough to patiently (yeah, right!) await the arrival of the Body Blast series.

I have never felt this way about any other exercise instructor - - Cathe is so awesome. I know my DH thinks I've got around the bend, but I'm happy so he's not complaining!

Okay, I admit it...I double-dipped from the very beginning! My justification was that I like to watch the videos in my bedroom at night before going to sleep & that is how I "pre-learn" the moves. And I didn't have a DVD player in the bedroom.

So today my husband surprised me with a new TV for the bedroom which includes a VCR & a DVD player! ~Ahem~ Now what do I tell him when the stuff starts coming in? LOL

RE: How many "double-dipped"?

I did not purchase both, but ordered all of the DVDs. I did not even pay for it to ship next day. I guess I just want to torture myself. Like Connie, I am still finding my way through the IS DVDs.

I can't wait to get the kick boxing and the circuit training workouts. I am also so excited about the premixes of the two. The possibilities are endless:0)

Annette,

I would do the same, the three vids you have ordered are the three I am desperate to do ! LOL

So far, I've not pre-ordered any......I know, I've missed out on some good deals but as soon as they have been released I am going to order 2 at a time, its the import tax to the UK. I seem to have been hit every time I order 3 plus videos from Canada x(

I am just so looking forward to the reviews...:D I can't wait 1

Take care

Anna :)

I think last time it was about a month. It might even be a bit longer this time. How much longer do you think it will take for them to do the "no music" option on the DVD's?

At least we know the wait will be worth it! The video buyers have the advantage of speed, but we'll have the advantage of so many more exercise options, better picture and sound, and better durability. (Just keep repeating this to yourselves as the wait for DVD's becomes more and more excruciating).
