How come so many people sell "All Step"?

Just curious. It was the first Cathe I bought from Ebay and it seems there are always lots of them for sale, but not much else from CTX. So, how come everyone sells this one?

RE: How come so many people sell

I think it comes as a free DVD when you buy a full-size step in stores. So people who buy the step may not be interested in Cathe's workouts (especially if they are beginners...it is an advanced workout). That's my guess.

REALLY?! My All Step pixilates, freezes, and skips on my CTX DVD. It's the only workout on the disc to do so, and it's one of my favorite workouts! I don't have a paypal account but perhaps I should get one if there are a plethora of All Step DVDs out there!!!

Thanks for the info!

RE: How come so many people sell

When I first bought my step, All Step came with it. I had just discovered Cathe at that point so didn't know much about her workouts. I remember doing All Step the first time and thought how strange it was that it was step and shoulders only (i.e. the other body parts were omitted). I didn't realize it was part of the CTX series. Still I find it odd that they didn't include just a step only workout in the box instead of one that really belongs to a set.

I still have the All Step video although I've since bought the CTX set on DVD. I haven't bothered to try to sell it as eBay is always flooded with them.

RE: How come so many people sell

I love All Step. I sold 2 of them on Ebay because it came with my small step and then I bought a large step and it came with that too, and then I bought the CTX series on VHS so I had 3 of them. Before I knew anything about Cathe I wondered why it was called All Step when there were shoulder and ab workouts on it too. You'd think they would have put RS in with the step or something because I think the choreography in All Step is just as challenging as RS, but at least it isn't part of a set. I remember the first time I tried All Step and there was no way I could keep up with that choreography. I said this is ridiculous and I never tried it again for probably a year or more and then one day I decided I was going to try that ridiculously hard video again and I was going to stick with it until I got it. I've been hooked on Cathe ever since.:D

All Step is advanced and can be really challenging for a beginner. I thought that it was unusual to include it with a step.

RE: How come so many people sell

All Step was my first Cathe workout since it was so prevalent on e-bay and I could get it cheap. What a shocker when I tried to do it!! I had been doing Gin Miller, Kathy Smith, Kelly Roberts, and Karen Voight. Now, it's been years since I have even touched those workouts. My whole cabinet is full of Cathe's.

I have to admit though, I was mad at Cathe when I first tried to do All Step. Especially in the parts when she said - you know these moves so lets just do them or something like that. I'm sure you can imagine the expression on my face and the choice words coming out of my mouth as I was gasping for air.... Those were the good ole days - lol.

I agree that the step should include a workout that is not as choreographically challenging. I think including a better choice of workouts with the step would increase Cathe's fan base because I'm sure others have just given up on All Step. Just my .02
