How cold/warm is it in your world?

The sun in shining and it's a balmy -35C + windchill = -47C!!! What is that in Fahrenheit you say? When it's that cold the scales are about the same! I'm having trouble remembering why we live here! I swear the dog's bladder is going to burst - she takes one sniff of the outside air and runs back inside!

Anyways, make me jealous tell me what it's like in your world.

We're having unseasonably warm weather now. It's 31F. Last week it was well below zero and wind chills -40F. What stinks it we get ICE (from the constant warm fronts and rain), not tons of snow, which is sooooooo much worse. Some of my family live near Buffalo, NY and they will get lots of snow and similar temps. but not the ice.

I'm in Colorado and we are in the middle of a Winter Storm Warning that went into effect yesterday. It should let up some today. We have about 6 inches of snow and the current temp is 3 degrees. It's soooo yucky out.

It's a very cold 28F right now. We're supposed to be getting snow starting tomorrow. I love the snow but would rather it stayed up in the mountains. I hate driving in this weather (The ice!)

Hmmmmm, I think Trish was hoping someone from HI would reply. We're all saying how FREEZING COLD we are! Yuck!

Okay, ladies. Please don't hate me because I'm warm. I live in Central Florida where this week, all week, the high's are between 78-80 degrees F.

Now, just last week we had a couple of days that the high's didn't go above 55 degrees. For us, that's downright COLD.:D

I live in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. The weather has been odd today alternating between rain and sunshine. It's about 69-71F (20.56-21.67C).

I am from Georgia and we are getting unseasonably warm weather. Today it is around 70 degrees. I actually look forward to our winters here - I enjoy the cooler weather. Not that I am looking for snow and ice. I have a sister that lives in Buffalo - that is why I live in Georgia! ;-)

It was 3 degress above zero F this am at 9:00am. We could use some snow though. The snow keeps going north or south of us and so far Minneapolis has had only 3 inches of snow this winter. Weird. It's a 100 year record for the least amount of snowfall.

If it's going to be cold at least it's pretty with the snow.

No idea what temp it is, but having seen off the snow from Xmas, I woke up to white world again today and I haaaaaaaaaaaaate it! It's sooo grey out: grey skies, sludgy grey ground, stick grey trees and grey people in dull coloured coats.

Please, please, please can Spring come early?!?!?!?!?!

I wish I lived in New Mexico or Florida, NOT Michigan. Blah!

Clare

Woke up to 2-above ambient temperature with a 17-below windchill this a.m. - no surprises for Twin Cities Minnesota. Up in Embarrass, Minnesota I think yesterday it was 37-below ambient with a windchill bad enough to stop time.

I'll take it, however, considering what our poor, poor brothers and sisters have had in Tsunami Country.

Counting My Blessings

Brrrrr.. It's about 14 here in N. E. Wisconsin. We're expecting 3-6 inches of snow tonight. I tell ya, I do like winter but I am getting a bit antsy for spring!! Susan

We've been having unseasonably warm weather in my part of Illinois: just three days ago, it was 63=degrees! The last two days, it's been raining like mad (severe flood warning abound). But the temps are dropping today. When I came in to the office, it was around 38-degrees, but it's probably around 30 by now. I'm afraid all the rain (puddles and mini-lakes) will now freeze and turn to ice. I plan on staying in the next couple of days!

I agree with aquajock. We are so fortunate. It's a blessing that we are able to discuss this topic.

Anyway, it is high 70's 80's here in sunny Florida.

Counting my blessings also,
Lori

Here in Lawrenceville, GA (about 40 miles outside of Atlanta) it is about 70 F. It is unusually warm for this time of the year. I am originally from NYC and I do appreciate these warmer winters. It rarely snows here, but I like living in a city with all 4 seasons. Only for fashion reasons, I love clothes.

Here in Northern California, we're still digging out as fast as we can so that Friday, when the enxt snow storm comes we can at least find the streets. Been in the 30's, just wish it would snow on the weekdays, so I can go skiing on the weekends instead of shoveling snow.

:)

Oh goodness, up here on the Canadian prairies we are at about minus forty one with the windchill. But at least it's sunny! Kim
