Horizontal Conditioning Bootcamp.....Wowzers!

HC enabling on here is working!!!

I want HC too. Actually I have purchased it and would love to know what is this HC is all about!
I am currently waiting for my parcel to arrive!

Just wanted to let all enablers here know :D:D:D.

I am waiting for it to arrive.

I do not think I will be doing it straight. I am starting Meso cycle 2 Monday and have not done any workout for this week. Too much going on and will have to get some workout friday and Saturday.

Will post my review on it in due course.

I've been interested in this set too, but I'm a little confused. Is it a total body work out or just a core workout? I'm going to be starting STS and I'm wondering how this would fit in. I really need to strengthen my core, but don't want to overwork my muscles from doing STS at the same time. (I'm new to STS and not sure how everything works yet). I haven't done all of Cathe's abs videos, but I have them. I don't like doing all the crunches and sit-ups. Does she have another video or video segment that is more plank work, etc? Thanks!
 
I'm pretty sure some of the workouts are focused on the core and some are total body. That's why I purchased the Classic 4 option - looked like 2 of each type. I haven't received them yet, so I could have misunderstood.

They are pretty much all total body workouts with a STRONG emphasis on the core. If you are combining it with STS I would probably just do HC once a week and try to separate it from shoulder work by at least a day or two. I find HC really works the shoulders big time! I suggest the same thing for anyone who does yoga with HC. Both work the shoulders a lot, so it's wise to be careful with that. Actually it's a good idea to use HC with STS as I found when I did STS I really neglected my abs. I even had ab circuits but I rarely did it during that rotation. :eek:

As for Cathe, all the LIS workouts work the core all sneaky like with lots of plank based work ;). Also, I just love the ab section on To the Max. The side plank/snatch move she does is very reminiscent of Sandra's HC!
 
Santa brought me Horizontal Conditioning Vol 1 -4 and Bootcamp. So, I did Boot Camp today because you guys said it was tough. OMG! It kicked my AS%!!!! Thank you for the recommendation. Next is Body Beast - thank you again my favorite enablers. But, you give the most honest reviews of workout tapes.

If you decide to try Body Beast, make sure you warm up and stretch throughout the workout. They are practically non-existent in this program. I used the corresponding
P90X warm up. I eventually returned it for this reason. It is too easy to get injured with this program.
