Hi Honeybunch!
Since you're the forum's resident Betty Crocker I thought you might be able to give me some suggestions. Right after Thanksgiving I'm going to try to start baking my Christmas cookies and freezing them. The problem I've had in the past is with the decorated cookies. For example, gingerbread men - I outline them with white frosting but when I take them out of the freezer the frosting outline always crumbles and falls off in spots which is so aggravating since decorating is the most time consuming part. Do you have any suggestions to stop this from happening or any easier decorating tips? Baking just doesn't come easy to me! Also, what's the shelf life for dry ingrediants like flour and baking soda?
Thanks for your help. Keep us posted on the bake-off!
