I've not been able to do Cathe for 5 months now
. I went to PT for 3 months and have been doing yoga, PT home exercises and walking for 2 months. My hip is so much better so I would love to start back with Cathe. My physical therapist said to begin with only 20-30 minutes and build up as I get stronger. Same with the step...no step to begin with. I've done 30 minutes of low max twice and was pretty sore around the hip. My physical therapist said this would happen in the beginning, but to give it a few weeks and it would get better. He said to remember when I first began therapy it felt worse before it felt better and this was the same thing. And to ice, ice, ice and stretch, stretch, stretch.
I just wanted to hear from any of you who have experienced a hip bursitis. Does all this sound right? Any suggestions about the best Cathe DVD's for hip problems? I am restricted to low impact only. Thanks for any help you can give!
