High step and Video ?'s...Please help!

Okay, here's my deal:

I've asked part of this before and got great feedback, but that was before I knew anything about Cathe's new vids...I'm new to Cathe, but from the clips online, it looks like Cathe's vids ROCK! (I've used Firm stuff, but Cathe's look more intense, and that's what I want, so be honest!)

I'm thinking about preordering the new 6-pack. I need a cardio/weights video and an interval video at least. So, do I go with the new stuff, or do I try something that's already gotten 2 thumbs up from you all?

If you don't mind, let me know your opinions, or suggest some of her current vids online like you've suggested IMAX 1 & 2.

One more thing about the high step...Is this something you've got to have for the new 6-pack coming out, or could I use my "Fanny Lifter?"

Thx a lot!

Hi and welcome to Cathe.

I don't know about using your "Fanny Lifter" for the new vids coming out but I've been using my FL for the intensity series and it works fine. Of course I'm going to want to eventually get the cool new high step just so my equipment can be coordinated!!! :7

Cathe splits up her weight workouts and cardio workouts. For weight workouts for someone new to Cathe I would suggest Power Hour, MIS, and the Pure Strength Series. The pyramids from the Intensity Series are also really good. BUT I'm sure the new body blast series is going to be really great (as is everything Cathe does) so you might want to go ahead and preorder those and save yourself some money in the future BECAUSE you WILL eventually want all of Cathe's workouts!!! }(

I guess what I'm trying to say is everything Cathe produces is great , so happy spending!

I tried replying to you earlier today, but my message wouldn't post! I'll try to say over again what I tried to say earlier :)

I was thinking that the best DVDs for you to start with wouldn't necessarily be the Body Blast DVDs ONLY because you requested 1) an interval workout, and 2) cardio/weights workouts.

If that is your criteria, I think the Intensity Series is your best bet. It has Boot Camp (cardio/weights), Cardio & Weights (enough said :) ), and Interval Max 2 (your interval workout). There are three other workouts that are totally weight workouts. If you are willing to try them, they are outstanding and, I think, worth a shot.

If you want to forgoe the Pyramid Upper/Pyramid Lower DVD (weights only), you should then also go for the Terminator DVD, as it has 3 workouts that are cardio/weights. I'm assuming that you are talking "Firm-like" in the sense that you have cardio and weights in the same video? If not, I'm sorry :( And then I just have to say that every video Cathe does is fantastic, and once you buy one, you'll become hooked and buy every darn video anyway!!

I hope I helped a little. Good luck and happy, happy shopping!! :D
