High Intensity for two left feet

I love the Cathe videos, but unless I am doing the workouts I consider more beginner, I find myself landing on my rear more than my feet. I am a klutz, but I am also in fairly decent shape. I figure skate 5 days a week (was 3 until recently) and am trying to get back into shape after a bad groin injury that has kept my exercise limited as well as get below where I was prior to the injury. I like the intensity level of videos like Low Max or even the 53 min step I got with my step, but I trip over my own two feet a lot. In fact after probably 10-15 times through only the first 4 interval premix on low max I finally got through without completely losing it. And it's not an intensity problem, I just confused over the steps and can't follow along. Any reccomendations on dvd's that have a high intensity level but is good for klutz's like me? (and when I say klutz I mean it - I regularly walk into door frames  )

Boot Camp cardio only and cardio+lower-body only premixes

Kick Max Boot Camp challenge segment

Cardio Kicks power drills segment

For high-intensity-basic-choreography step, you can't beat Interval Max, which was the Queen which spawned I-max 2 and I-Max 3. The choreo in Interval Max is much more basic than 2 or 3, and the intensity is through the roof. It is on the same DVD as Rhythmic Step and Maximum Intensity Cardio ("MIC"); you may also want to give MIC floor hi/lo cardio a whirl.

Also consider, for Low Max, just doing the 7-Blast-Only premix.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to get the videos reccomended. I have tried Low Max with just the 7 blast premix and do like it for shorter days. I still can't make it through all of low max without getting really confused. The one that keeps tripping me up is the last aerobic segment. Just can not seem to follow it. But will be ordering the ones reccomended and trying them.

Bootcamp, Imax 1 and 2 (3 has more complexe choreo, IMO, and is not as well cued). Maybe also the high step workouts (the cardio segments are not complexe.

I can relate to the 2 left feet!!! I am choreographically challenged myself. After quickly viewing the DVD, I found doing the step sequences on a very low platform first (4") helps and listening to Cathe's cueing more then looking at her is key for me. If I'm not physically challenged during the learning process I can easily learn the steps. Once I learn the steps I can up the step to 6 or 8 inches and do the entire workout without tripping over myself. Usually this process only takes about 1 viewing and 1-2 tries on the 4 inch step. It really has been working out perfectly for me.

Two big left feet,
Robin :)
