Hey Reese

Hi!

I was just coming here to post an update and saw your message! :)

I actually just came from the vet's office. Sandy had his check up today and got all of his stitches out so he can ditch that nasty "lamp shade" collar he's been wearing. I'll get some pics this weekend of him and link them in here.

Mr. T (Toby) is doing just fine. He goes in Wednesday evening of this week for a neutering on Thursday. He is a super loveable guy and he is absolutely crazy about tuna. He "screams" at me when I bring the can out for him! He doesn't really care for the amoxicillin topping I put on it, but he eats it anyway!

Oh - great news! I had been wondering too. Any news on the donation front???

The lovely pink medicine - my cat, who just had the surgery, lived on the amoxy drops as a kitten. He would come to me when he saw that stuff, open his mouth from the side, and lap the stuff up :) He got some nasty tasting antibiotic this time - he was not so thrilled about that one!

I am so happy to hear. How are Sandy's legs doing? Is he better able to use his litter box now?

And yea, what about the donation situation?

Well, I think the donations dried up a bit after I had to post the fact that the clinic refused to post any "extra" to our other rescues. We got in about 300-350 - which is a godsend, don't get me wrong. My disappointment is directly with the clinic. They've been acting weird about stuff lately.

So, because of the state of things, I went ahead and canceled STS and I'm prepping to sell my wardrobe on ebay (I promised you all a link on that and it WILL be coming - just remain patient with me - I'm not so handy with the technical side of things.) Other than that, we're going to roll with it and see what happens. We have put out collection buckets but so far we've gotten about $90 - which is excellent, but it is a slow process - you know?

Sandy is doing FANTASTIC! He is jumping and leaping. I am amazed. I held my breath the first couple times he jumped from furniture, but he's doing great. When I brought him home from the vet this morning, I figured he'd lay down and take a nap, but he's apparently so happy to have that collar off and the stitches out, that he hasn't stopped running since. It makes me happy that he's feeling so much better.

Stay tuned for pics and an ebay link on my stuff I'm going to sell - k?
