you are to blame!!!!!!

I happened to glance at a thread yesterday in which you mentioned this stunning premix and so I thought I would give it a go last night, having just recently started back to weights again and feeling like doing something totally different. Well! I like a nice, loooooooooong workout but blimey!

The legs portion went just fine, ticking along nicely, loved the burn on those low level lunges. Then Cathe starts in with the upper body work. Gosh.

I like the way she mixes in two muscle groups together, allowing us to work more and harder without accumulating excessive fatigue. But I gotta say, I astonished myself at getting through that shoulder workout and was patting myself on the back and then the devil woman starts in with double trouble supersets this and that, tris and bis exercises coming at me from all directions and it just didn't let up!

She kept saying "let's move on to the next round" and I was shaking my head with incredulity, "surely not!!!! How can there be more!?!?!?!"

I was shocked by how much I managed to do, and with heavy weights, no less. I am glad I did it. It is good to have another workout to do for heavy weights that does not take the time S&H takes up. Very useful premix. I didn't even know it existed so, thank you for enlightening me! Boy can I feel my triceps today........

Any other fab, gotta do it, premixes that you swear by?

Haha...Clare...I love that premix! I like it after double trouble where Cathe says draw me a big smile...love the whole thing, especially the music.

Here's some others that I really like. 4DS is awesome!

4DS - Bootcamp + Upper Body - 105 minutes
Kickbox + Upper Body - 103 minutes
Kickbox weights first - 71 minutes

Lower Body Blast has a 76 minute premix
Standing + Floorwork + Leg Conditioning Drills

Then those older dvds with two workouts on them. Boot Camp & Muscle Endurance has a great combo on the bottom of the screen...Bonus Combo

KPC & Legs & Glutes has some killer combos...omg!
Legs & Glutes Extreme is 79 minutes and this one slays me...Kickbox Cardio Drills, plus Kickbox + Strength Circuit + Abs...82 minutes.

Oh yeah...do the bonus combo premix on Pyramid Upper/Lower!

And last but not least, I bought Body Max 2 for the upper body workout, and there's a 71 minute double upperbody premix, except it stops frequently, so have your dvd controller handy to fast-forward. Sometimes though, that's awkward, so I run through it twice.

And the BC/Muscle Endurance bonus combo??? I must have missed that!!!! :)

This is why I adore Cathe workouts. SOOOOOO much more than just "a" workout! Premixes rock.
 
I have never heard of premixes before discovering Cathe and those things can be tough. I like how some are short and who are long for that added burn.

I stumbled upon a thread where fitness freak mentioned the 4DS premix cardio power - well i tried it the next day and loved it beyond!!!!!! I'm doing it again tomorrow. it's kickboxing and bootcamp in one. love it!

honest to goodness - i lay my cathe workout(s) out the night before - as if laying out an outfit to wear the next day - does anybody else do this?

get ready to fire up if you try it this weekend. Now, 24 hrs later, I am starting to feel it in the shldrs, back, chest, tris, bis, and glutes. Oh boy. I see ibuprofen on tomorrow's horizon!

Yep, me too!! I think I spend more time picking out the next day's Cathe workout than I do picking out my clothes. :D

OK Dirt Diva, I think I'll try that Bonus Combo premix from PLB and PUB today. I'll probably be back to curse you out later! Just kidding....thanks for the idea.

that is too funny! sleeping with your clothes on. i guess we all do what we have to - to be ready for cathe. I am glad to hear that at least a few of us lay out our workouts the night before - I feel more 'normal' now. ha ha.
