help!!

Folks, I am having a seriously tense day at work. This is a day where some serious things are happening, and the whole day is revolving around those things, and we can't get other work done. We wait and wait for something to happen, it does, we leap into action for a short time, then go back to waiting. The tension is driving me out of my mind! Please entertain me! I need help- whoops- gotta go!
