Help! Question about high-step risers...

Hi, I haven't been using a high-step because I don't have one, so I can't do leg presses. I have a step that is a Cathe step (which I bought at Wal-Mart). The step is green with purplish risers. Does anyone know if those risers will fit the high-step platform?

Hi Stephanie,
Yes, your risers will absolutely fit the high step platform. I have the same step as you. Go buy the high step--you won't regret it!!

Stephanie - Do you have the full size step or the smaller club step? If you have the small step, then those purple risers will not fit the high step. Measure your riser and if it is 16" square, you have the full size step and the risers will work for the high step. If your purple risers are only 10"x14.5", then you have the smaller version step and it will not work. I have all three. I started out with the small step that I bought from Wal-mart and than later found out that they sell a full size step on cathe.com. I bought that and then later bought the high step. I use the small one for a bench. :)

i dont use my high step for legpress anymore-at least for right now. i use a step with 4 risers on each side and do legpress with a band at the end of step.just like gymstle legs. i am more stable holding bands on each side than high step with dumbells.

Laura,
I'm not familiar with that way of doing it. I don't have gym-style legs. I wish I did now. That's too bad about the purple risers. I can't afford all of this equipment!!! I'm dropping hints like mad to my husband that I want a Cathe.com gift certificate for Christmas. Maybe then... Thanks guys for all of the info! You saved me from buying something I wouldn't be able to use afterall. I'll just go back to doing one-legged squats when they do leg presses on the DVDs.
