HELP -- Increasing UB Strenth, is this too much?

Cathlete
I have posted this here before, but even though I got some great responses, I seem to keep coming back to ask more questions.

I am getting married soon, and I want my upper body to look amazing in my strapless gown. I love to lift heavy, but have recently tried PUB which I really like too.

My question is this -- would the following rotation be too much for the 12 weeks leading up to my wedding...

WEEKS 1-3 4DS, maybe adding MM also
WEEK 4 Pyramids
WEEKS 5-7 Gym Styles
WEEK 8 Pyramids
WEEKS 9-12 Slow & Heavy
WEEK 13 (My Honeymoon) NO WEIGHTS, just relaxing on the beach:D

What do you think?

Hi Katie,

So, your goal is to increase strength? Do you want to lean out or are you satisfied with your current weight?

Shirl, thanks for responding and always being so interested and willing to help!!

I guess basically what I want is for my upper body -- everything that you see above my strapless gown -- to look muscular. Sounds bad, but that's the truth.

My weight is absolutely fine, don't care to lose any. But I know that in order to look cut, I will need to build muscle and lean out in my arms/chest/back. So that would probably include losing some fat -- hopefully from those areas.

So I guess my answer is that yes, I want to increase strength and lose some fat so that my new muscles can be seen. But I don't necessarily care about the number on the scale.

This looks good, I like it.
I would use the 4DS as is and not use MM those weeks.
Also how are you using the Pyramids?:
PUB
cardio
PLB
cardio
circuit
cardio?

OR:

PUB
cardio
PLB
cardio
PUB
cardio

For what you want, I think the second option would be best. I think you've got a wonderful rotation! I'm sure you'll look great for your wedding:)

Deanie, thanks for responding! Yes, I would do PUB twice in those weeks (second option). I do not care for circuits!!
