Hey Shopgirl! This is also my 2nd week of BFL. Did you lose last week? I lost 3 lbs. Saturday was my free day and I felt so sick as well. I ate 4 choc chip cookies and felt ill. And I LOVE homemade choc chip cookies.

D – Large Salad, 1 glass wine
S – Almonds and dried fruit
Although I'm doing SS at the moment, I keep popping by to see what's happening and to see if there's any news on the Hardcore front. Going to alternate 4 weeks of Cathe w/ 4 weeks of SS (well, that's the intention)
Great news on the weight front - thanks to you guys (and especially KathyH), my weight's the lowest it's been for around eight years (yippeeee)! Now down to 133lbs

Dana, nope haven't lost anything. Last time I kept track of my progress by measuring. Will try that again this time too, so Sat will be my measuring day.;( I'm being really faithful, so I hope I have the great success that I did the last time I did BFL.
I am doing a very modified version of BFL. I took their sample plan on their website and doctored it up to cut out all meat except fish.
b - english muffin, eggwhites, V8, lf cheese
s - prunes, coffee
l - roasted red pepper, spinach, cucumber, and lf pepperjack cheese sandwich (yum!:9 )
d - Organic veggie lasagne
s - protein shake
Still in phase 1 of south beach here and I'm really starting to hate it!!! Not the food, necessarily, because all of my sugary cravings are now gone. But I hate the way that I feel--low energy and still can't get through even half of a decent cardio or wieght workout, not to mention the fact that my stomach has been "out of sorts" now for about 5 days. I'm seriously thinking of moving onto phase 2 a little early just so that I can get on with my workouts. Has this happened to anyone else?? Maybe I'll start a new thread asking everyone.

I haven't tried the taco pasta salad, but the taco salad with the pita chips is very tasty! I just love his EFL cookbook. In fact, I gave this book as XMAs gifts to 4 other people. I just received a thank you note this morning from one of the recipients indicating how much she loves this cookbook!
