Have you ever been told you like a celebrity??

Looking like Elizabeth Shue isn't a BAD thing, right? :p I certainly hope not! lol I happen to think she's attractive so that's a plus!

Jes-I was sooo excited about the baby ticker thing! lol Thanks for noticing!:+

I got to listen to another childbirth story last night while I was at the bowling alley with DH. One of DH's friend's nieces had a little boy just a week or 2 ago and apparently was screaming her head off during the contractions because of the pain...OY VEY! What have I gotten myself into? LOL I'm trying not to let any of these stories scare me but it can be hard at times...I still can't wait though! The little guy woke me up this morning! He was really movin' around for a few minutes...It was super cool!:D

Have a great work out!

I have been told my entire life...even as a little girl...that I looked like Natalie Wood. Complete strangers have stopped me and said it. A few people have told me I looked like Pat Benatar when I had short hair.

Jane Fonda! Guess that is why I am into fitness, eh? I have a best friend and her & I could pass as twins. I also have a twin I don't look a bit like.

Nobody's ever told me I look like anyone famous, but a lot of different people have told me I look just like their wife's sister. Just a weird coincidence, I guess.

Eve Plumb (Jan) from the Brady Bunch, and Lindsey Wagner from the Bionic Woman (she's selling sleep-number mattresses now).

Wendy,
I think your little baby ticker is cute too. Thanks for sharing the pics of the sonogram. How precious.

Don't worry about the birth stories people tell you. Everyone is different. I've had six children, including three homebirths with no pain medication; and I survived. You'll do great!

Thank you Aila! I think you are beautiful! I'm so bad at telling who people resemble though. My DH laughs at me. Although, once, when I waited on Melissa Gilbert and her husband I told her she looked just like Melissa Gilbert. (Not realizing it was really her. Of course it hit me a few minutes later. DUH) :p

I think Elizabeth Shue is very attractive. But in the picture in your album, I think I see Sandra Bullock a little more. Maybe because of your brown hair. It's so hard to really tell....

Let's see, I've been told I look like Julia Roberts (when I wore my hair long), a young Jane Fonda, Lara Flynn Boyle (pre-weightloss), Shannon Dougherty and Molly Ringwald. Basically, if they're dark-haired and Irish looking, I've been told I resemble them. Although I'm not Irish!

I've been told I look like Kirsti Alley (back in her lighter, Cheers days. Probably 'cause I wear my dark hair parted to the side like her & my eyebrows arch like her.

My nick name in from junior high all through highschool was "Lora Croft". I had no idea who that was until the movie came out. Then I got called that every morning by the rows of boys that sat in the halls. It was so annoying! I got a few Sarah O'Connor comments but that was back when I took wt lifting sophmore year and when my hair was blonde.

The other day I met a guy who said he felt like he should bow b4 me b/c I have such a commanding presence like Lady Lora Croft! I don't carry myself like her at all. She stands croocked and I like to keep good posture. I never slouch like her! lol. Anyway those are the only 2 I've been told I look like.

A little girl once told her mom that I looked the lady from Cheers (this was back when I was in high school). She was talking about Shelly Long, of course. I still remember it. I was leaving school after band practice and this woman and her little girl were walking in for one of the many after-school activities that were held at my high school. "Mommy! She looks like the lady from Cheers!" She was so excited! The mom just smiled at me the way moms do when their kids say something adorable like that.

Otherwise, I'm always told that I look like "this girl I know" or "this woman I saw at the Chinese Buffett the other day". Apparently, I have a lot of twins out there. Does that mean I'm average?

:7

Madeline Stowe and Ashley Judd.....I think They must have been on Crack to see any resemblence!!

Wendy...great pictures...does everyone want to touch your stomach yet?!?

Around in the 80's, I was told I looked like Jane Fonda. Then later on, somebody said I reminded them of Barbara Feldon (Agent 99 on "Get Smart." ) I don't see the ressemblance (or the ressemblance between the two of them!

But people do sometimes see ressemblances where there aren't any. I travelled to London with an aquaintance, and first, a shop keeper asked if we were sisters (maybe just chit chatting). Then, some guy in the group we were with asked if we were twins. VERY bizarre as I am about 3 inches taller, she's blond (dyed) and I'm brunette (with some grey now), and neither of us see the ressemblance (but we were both flattered because we each think the other one is cute,LOL!) Maybe because we both have two eyes, a nose and some hair??

A friend of mine when I was in college, used to swear that I looked exactly like Madeline Stowe....I don't know how she looks though!
(Will have to make a search on photos of her.)

Kathryn!

It would be interesting on a roadtrip to see if we look alike since I have been told Jane Fonda many times in my ealier years! BTW, I have two eyes, a nose and LOTS of hair! Tee-Hee! Well, actually, not so much hair anymore. I caved and got my past-the-shoulders hair cut this week. YIKES! Shocker at first.
